In case you were wondering, Erykah Badu considers one of her baby daddies particularly valuable.

When asked in an interview about what work of art she would most like to own, Badu was quick to respond.

Did she say she desired a Basquiat painting? A Van Gogh piece? Perhaps Badu would like to secure a rare piece created during the Harlem renaissance? Nope…

Andr?, the?father of the Badu’s 14-year-old son, Seven Sirius Benjamin, has talents that range from rapping to singing to acting.

He’s currently prepping to star as the legendary Jimi Hendrix in an upcoming biopic.

So I guess it’s no surprise that Badu still wants to lay claim to such a priceless piece of “art.”

Andr??3000’s recent connection to Hendrix may also be what keeps Badu attracted.

Erykah reveals that Hendrix is one of her many musical heroes.?She also admits that she admires Janelle Monae?and even called her ?best friend? (even though Monae may not even know that the two share that connection).

“My heroes are?Jimi Hendrix, Joni Mitchell,?Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind and Fire, the Emotions,?Chaka Khan?and the Doobie Brothers,” she admitted.

“And Janelle Monae is keeping me on my A-game — secretly, I feel that I have to go out and crush her. We’re best friends, though: she’ll only find that out by reading this.”
