While most feel the book was the former football pro’s way of finally confessing to the sins of murdering his ex-wife, Nicole Brown-Simpson, there’s one man in particular who feels it was merely a cover up to protect the real murderer…. OJ’s son!

Renowned private investigator William C. Dear says he can prove that OJ Simpson is innocent of the murder of his ex-wife and he has facts to support that it was Simpson’s oldest son, Jason (from his first marriage) who actually committed the crime.
Dear has written all of the facts in a book called “O.J. is Innocent and I Can Prove It: The Shocking Truth about the Murders of Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman.
Jason Simpson was never considered a suspect or a person of interest in the murder of his stepmom and her friend Ron Goldman but Dear said he has spent the past 18 years collecting circumstantial evidence which, he feels proves O.J.’s innocence.
“I flew out two weeks after the murders,” he said.
“I climbed over the back gate and walked the walkway to the front door, and that’s when I realized O.J. could not have done it. But he was there. He was either there at the time or there afterwards [and] became part of the crime.”
Dear claims that he has possession of the actual knife that was used in the murders, along with photos and other evidence that point to Jason Simpson as the true killer.
…we found the weapon in Jason’s storage facility that he failed to make payments on. We know he carried it — his initials were carved in the leather sheath.
We have emails from his former roommates that were in college with him. We have our suspect’s diaries. We have his forged time card, and we have the vehicle he was driving on the night of the murders.
In case you’re wondering why on earth Jason would want to kill Nicole Brown-Simpson, Dear contends that Jason has his own demons and suffers from “intermittent rage disorder.”
During O.J.’s murder trial, prosecutors alleged that the defendant was obsessed with his ex-wife, that he was prone to jealous rages and that he would stalk her.
Dear said that described Jason as well…
“Our suspect [Jason] at the time was 5’11″ and 235 pounds,” Dear said.
“He was 24 years old, and he was on probation for assaulting his previous employer with a knife. In addition to that, he’s had three attempted suicides and has been in a psychiatric unit.”
On the day of the murders — June 12, 1994 — O.J. Simpson and Nicole Brown attended a dance recital for their daughter. Dear alleges that Jason Simpson was working as a chef in a Beverly Hills restaurant and had put together a special meal for the family.
Brown did not attend the dinner and that could have been what set him off.
“You’re dealing with a young man who just weeks prior had checked into a hospital where he said he was out of his medication and was about to rage,” Dear said.
“I have no doubt he had no intention of killing her, but [he] confronted her and, as a result, something happened.”
The diaries he obtained from the storage unit, which were allegedly written by Jason, refer to the young man’s obsession with knives and the problems he was purportedly dealing with.
One entry allegedly reads, “It’s the year of the knife for me. I cut away my problems with a knife. Anybody touches my friends — I will kill them. I’m also tired of being Dr. Jekyll [and] Mr. Hyde.”
O.J. Simpson is currently locked up in Lovelock, Nevada, where he is serving time on an unrelated charge of armed robbery and kidnapping after he took sports memorabilia from a dealer at gunpoint.
Dear insists he can back up every allegation he made in his book and is confident that his theory is correct.

This is so dumb. He killed TWO PEOPLE because she stood him up for dinner? And yet he’s been JUST FINE ever since? Serve your time OJ.

This does NOT mean absolute truth, totally correct w/o a flaw, or any words similar to these. This is a dead issue (no pun intended). Plus, the motive for double, capital murder is extremely weak, to say the least.
I have been saying this since before the verdict was read! Truth has a funny way of coming out, no matter how long it takes. Funny, statute has run out on this case right? If so he has gotten away with murder.
there is never a statute of limitations on murder. There have been many theories on this case, but this theory is solid, and remember LAPD from the get go looked at no one else. But if you really read this book and look at the eveidence, it is difficult not to think Jaons is not the real killer. Jason has rage and mental disorders, he has a history of violence, he was stalking Nicole, he has NO alibi fo the night of the murders. he carried knives everywhere, he left his DNA,his cap, his fingerprint. Not to mention OJ on the night of the murders arranged from Chicago one of LA’s best attorneys to represent Jason. Why? Jason alos has the same DNA profile as OJ, and was off his powerful medication only weeks before the murder. Look at the reason why LAPD and LA DA would not want to pursue Jason, because besides going after the wrong guy, they could never convict Jason, not with his mental profile, impossible. On depekote, off depekote, given slaps on the wridts for his previous assualts, and favors by LAPD, this would have been an embarrassment.

It does matter, he was convicted by the media, forced to pay in the families large sums of money, which eventually led up to the robberies he’s currently serving sentences for where he was stealing back his own sports memorabilia.

That could be a very strong possibility. Anyone who’s a parent and whose kid(s) is struggling with demons, would do anything to protect their child. I’ve all along thought Kato did it; I not once ever suspected it could be OJ’s son – it does make sense though.

Yes it was Jason, I grew up in Santa Monica and we worked at Melisse together and I worked at Gaucho Grill which is next door to Mezzaluna. Never knew Ron, but saw him many times out back he was either talking to guys in cars, or selling coke to them. Believe me this was coke central. West LA, Santa Monica, West Hollywood, all with people that did lots of coke. In the late 1980′s early 1990′s this was the thing. Hell my wife’s attorney dealt. He would do our taxes and sell her coke. Mezzaluna was a place that employed coke dealers, petty ones. But, they did deal. Brett Cantor, Michael Nigg both murdered worked there. The place was where Brentwood residents would go to buy from them. And conduct their business on the street behind San Vicente. Great place to do this, people coming and going lots of parking, lot of drug deals went on behind those restaurants. Goldman, was dealing too. Remember Brentwood even the so called poor section was expensive, and Goldman was working as a waiter at Mezzaluna, wasn’t making much. So from my personal knowledge it is possible that Nicole and Goldman were involved in big drug deals, But inlikely enough to get them dead. Doubt it, Much more likely this rage killing was done by Jason, OJ had no reason to kill her. And he knew if she ended up dead he would be the suspect. He did not have the rage to want to kill her, he saw her screwing around before, many times with different guys. He did not care. This was Jason he was stalking her and angry at her for many reasons.

And as far as DNA evidence, OJ and Jason would have similiar DNA and the breakdown of the DNA would only be uselful if used by the Attorney General.
