Meet Angel Adams, a 39 year old mother of 15 young children, 12 of which are currently in her care.
Adams, a resident of Tampa, Florida, has been in the news several times over the past few years for problems stemming from her dire situation.
The man who fathered 10 of her 15 kids was arrested and things all went downhill from there.
In 2010, she was evicted from low-income housing for having “too many residents” in the home.
Adams is reportedly upset at the “system” and says that the state isn’t doing enough to support her and her kids.
The mother says things didn’t get bad for her until social services got involved and she gripes that “somebody needs to pay for all [her] children” to live better.
Her 15 kids have 3 baby daddies, and to top it all off… Adams was once held in contempt of court for cussing out a social working and refusing to answer whether or not she’d gotten pregnant again.

The 12 kids in Adams’ care have been in and out of foster care and while relatives have tried to help, no one can maintain the family for too long.
Adams now feels there’s no way out and is constantly in a battle with the state for more aid.

When does one get to the point that they are so dependant on the system that they keep having all these babies, knowing full well that you can not afford them!!??!! She should be required to get her tubes tied or sterilization or something and she should be required to maintain gainful employment for as long as she requires assistance from the state. OMG Now this ridiculous! She is fully aware of her not being able to care for all those children. She would need to become rich, that is just the half of it. Some of her children are likely to have emotional problem because it is just one of her. It`s extremely difficult to try meet 15 children emotional needs when her own may not be stable. For her to make a decision to have 15 kids something is unstable. We are not living in the old days whereas, it is allow, others will assist parents.
On a more seriouse note, those kids didn’t ask to be brought here. So what should the system do, sit back and let them suffer because they have dead beat parents? Yes, she should be made to contribute in some way, but until they can make her do it, the state should step in. Clearly she isn’t in her right mind.
@ Anita I don’t think the system should sit-back, make the kids pay. As you stated they did not asked to be born into this world. I think the system should help. However, I think the parents should also do thier parts, the stated should make her get her tube tied or something. In the end it’s the children who will stuffer if they don’t get help. They even may need foster parent to step-in if the biological parents are mental, emotional stable.

This lady obviously has some mental health issues not agreeing to visit with her children because the state wants a monitored visit,combative to the point that she ends up losing the two youngest to the state anyway! As many kids as the Duggars have…they support all of those kids themselves. The father does very well in real estate and their older male children have jobs and help. They do not have state assistance and they aren’t asking anybody for help. They also were offered their show. Different situation totally

I feel sorry for those children. The article I read said she has a middle school education and has not worked in 21 years. She stated in the video that she did not need assistance until her 3rd baby father got arrested, so maybe she was not living off the system this entire time. The state has assisted her enough by giving her food and shelter for those children in a motel then later a larger home. The landlords of her original home said they gave her more than a year to get the rent she owed together.

I am reading some of the comments and I am baffled. I do not think that we are selfish for not wanting to foot the bill and she keeps having children. I have a 2 year old daughter and my husband was laid off for over a year. I realized that we could not afford anymore children so I took birth control.
It looks as if she is still having children even though times are hard with the ones she already has. It’s called common sense and apparently she is lacking it. Kate was a Registered Nurse before they got their show so she was working and probably would’ve kept working if she didn’t get a show. I do think something is wrong with that Duggard lady but they do support ALL those kids. Octomom was getting the same mess this lady is getting because she couldn’t support those kids so the race card doesn’t need to be played. If she wants help she needs to follow the rules. If the state wants supervised visits and she want assistance then she needs to comply or get a job. Yes, Adams shouldn’t have so many kids if she can’t afford them, but at the same time it’s her life, her body, her choice. How come no one massacred octomom? The media didn’t persecute octomom by invading her privacy asking her if she was currently pregnant, only to throw her in jail and take her kids away like they did to Adam?? I understand falling on bad times and leaning on social services to help you get back on your feet but daymn she thinks it’s the states responsibility to take care of her.She is prime example of why some say state should get involved and force people to have their tubes tied.
I have 9 kids myself and at one point I was a single mom but I DID NOT relay on the government or housing to take care of me and my kids I got off my ass and got two jobs to take care of my kids this sorry ass woman need to take care of her kids and get a job I’m not never going to say it isn’t hard cause it was but between family and god I did it
