Christopher “Ludacris” Bridges’ Straits restaurant has been the site of many a social event in Atlanta, but it failed its last health inspection with a surprisingly low score. 
Luda’s restaurant received a failing score of 67 and an unsatisfactory in a January 31st surprise inspection by the city.
Violations found during the inspection included inadequate food storage, unclean and unsanitary food contact surfaces, inadequate hand washing facilities, unclean nonfood contact surfaces, food not dated and marked properly.
Ludacris responded to the matter via the following statement issued through his publicist:
Unfortunately – yes, our most recent health inspection score is unacceptable. Serving fabulous food in a clean and welcoming environment is a top priority for us.
While we scored 91 on our 2010 inspection, the codes have since changed and thus we were sited for breaking new codes such as permits posted 15-feet from entrance instead of 19-feet and not having actual “no smoking” signs posted in the building.
Our kitchen remains spotless and cleanliness is a huge priority for us. We have fixed all of the violations and are waiting for a new inspection. We will report the results accordingly. ~ Liz Lapidus
According to SandraRose, the health inspector will conduct another test this week. I’m praying they pass because I’ve been craving some kung pao lollipops for a minute now.

If he would stop trying to be Mr. Jet setter and trying to impress everyone he could take care of his business..If he does not have to perform he’s still someplace besides the "A" partying having a good time trying to be seen him & Eudoxie. People are so quick to judge this man for having an active life and doing GREAT things across the board. Not every investment businessmen run are actually ran by them. Their is a chain of command. THERE is no way to no everything there is to know. He just needs to change things up and get a better staff to delegate the proper things to. GEESSHHH to roast the man because he has alot on his plate is crazy.
Despite that fact that every investor may not run the business personally, they are STILL ultimately responsible no matter who they delegate things to. The results of this health inspection will definitely hurt his business.
Is he the sole owner. I’m from Chicago and Michael Jordan had a restraunt and it used his likenss, name and he made appearances but he ultimatley did not have any decision making rights.

You’d be surprised the filth of the kitchens @ these "celebrity" restaurants that people naturally trust should be clean because after all they especially have a reputation ot protect. A close girlfriend of mine’s husband did work for Justin’s in the A and he said that their kitchen was disgusting and they warned me never to eat there. I was hoping Straits would be different, I read their menu online and now I’m disappointed to say I won’t be eating @ either restaurant.

I have to say I went to Straits on February 23, 2011 and he is being sabotaged. We went there for my boys birthday it was 15 of us and we could not get drinks. Wine glasses were dirty. And once we complained they started putting chit in our drinks i.e. pee, smelled like booboo, it was just wrong and nasty. I was very upset and disappointed. My friend had a sore throat from the wine for 2 weeks. I do not know what they put in our wine but it was a disease. Luda needs to make some surprise visits or send mystery shoppers on a regular.
