Word on the street is that Gucci Mane and Lil Scrappy are beefing. The two are said to have had a heated exchange last weekend at a local Atlanta club with Gucci getting the best of the fight.
I’d heard about the scuffle but quickly dismissed it as hearsay. After all, Gucci was just released from jail a few months ago. The last thing he needs is another stupid charge. But after a quick search of the net, I found in a random message board where a few witnesses were inquiring about what caused the tension between the two:
Last night Gucci had a party at Velvet room and him and Scrappy was arguing in VIP and all of a sudden gucci slapped him so hard and scrappy didnt do shit. Anybody know the full story or the reason behind this? i dont care if im scared of you or not you are not going to bitch-slap me and get away with it. Lil Scrappy is a hoe for that.
Inquiring minds wanna know. So I kept digging and after a bit of inquiring, I found out that the scuffle was over what else? A chick! And the chick in question is none other than rapper Diamond…
They were in VIP and Gucci Mane grabbed Scrappy by the shirt and slapped the fuck outta him and then he pushed him and they bumrushed him outta the club. Gucci started perfoming like nothing happened.
I’m gonna just make a wild assumption that last week’s fight was due to Scrappy’s hurt feelings since Gucci Mane and Diamond are rumored to be the new hood couple in town. Yuuup…. that’s what the rumor mill says. Gucci is even featured in Diamond’s new video “Lotta Money” as her love interest.
I’ve heard that Diamond and Scrappy’s relationship is kaput… done…. over…. and he’s apparently pissed at Gucci for having the audacity to bang his sloppy seconds.

At this year’s BMI unsigned artist showcase back in April, Diamond and Scrappy were both in attendance, however Scrappy was spotted leaving with some other chick on his arm while Diamond stayed and partied solo.
Diamond and Scrappy were amongst my top two ATL hood couples, coming in right behind Monica and Rocko but I guess this is the year of the breakup. Mo announced she and Rocko’s split via Twitter a few months ago but Diamond’s been quiet on the issue. I guess we can figure it all out on our own though. [those of you who care anyway...]
Diamond has been busy keeping her foot in the game, participating in Luda’s “My Chick Bad Remix” and Rasheeda’s “Bedrock” remix as well as working on her own projects. I have no idea what Scappy’s been doing, but I’m sure he’s been busy as well.
Let’s hope they all stick to making music and keep all the hood threesome drama out of the club.
