Are you wearing She by Sheree’? Can you find someone who is? Sheree’ Whitfield of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta made an entire storyline about her fashion line on the reality show. How can we ever forget the “Fashion Show with no Fashion”?
Anywhoo…the divorced diva has ditched the line for now and blames the “Atlanta” mindset for the demise of her line:
I’ve slowed down quite a bit. It’s a lot of work and I’ve got so many things that I’m really passionate about. Don’t get me wrong that’s my passion, but right now it’s hard trying to find the right group of people to come together and help out. You can’t do it by yourself. It takes a team.
And being in Atlanta it’s very hard. If I was in L.A., if I was in New York, if I was in Paris, you have those type of like-minded people. I can’t find people with the same business sense that I have. (Source)
Woooow! Sheree literally sh*tted on everyone in Atlanta who tried to help her with Sh*t by Sheree’ with that comment. That’s too bad. I was hoping for more of her fashion faux pas to reference in the future.
Sheree’s SheBySheree website is still active but I don’t think it EVER had any fashions available. If you go over there now, you’ll be asked to vote for a “who gone check me boo?” t-shirt design. Which she’s been working on for-dayum-ever… *sigh*
Sheree’ may have ditched her fashion aspirations but she now feels that she can be a positive influence in the lives of young girls. She’s started a non-profit organization which will focus on issues of health and obesity in young women.
I still haven’t heard if she’s confirmed for the 3rd season. Stay tuned…

Why didn’t she just relocate to New York or New Jersey and work on her business off the ground?
Wasn’t her pieces on the high end in terms of pricing? It a recession for some folks.

The world witnessed the lack of work ethic besides not designing a single solitary article of clothing. What in the hell does she think this is when people like myself go through so much more to get a well deserved product to market.
