Video ~ Mary J. Blige’s National Anthem Leads Yankees to World Series Win
Grammy award winner and another of my personal favs, Mary J. Blige, opened the 6th and final game of the 2009 World Series with her rendition of “The Star Spangled Banner.” Mary’s hometeam, the New York Yankees claimed victory over the Phillies in a 7 to 3 win. I’m sure the players may have had a lil bit to do with it but was it a coincidence that Mary blessed the game with her vocals? Hmmmm….I think not.

Just wish Frank White I mean Frank Sinatra — shoot Jay-Z and Alicia Keys came out and did the state new anthem Empire State of Mind!!!!!!!!!!
