V-103’s Porsche Foxx Terminated…(AGAIN) Due to Possible Drug Use

Porsche Foxx, pictured above during the BET Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta, has been terminated (yet again) from Atlanta radio station V-103. Program director Reggie Rouse sent an e-mail Wednesday informing staff of Foxx’s departure, and she has been removed from the list of DJs on the V-103 website. Her second stint as midday host lasted just over 16 months and although the station cites low ratings for the termination, sources say that the host may have failed a random drug test.
If you recall, Foxx (real name: Stephanie Calhoun) was fired the first time from the station after being charged with drunk driving and drug possession back in 2004. She was arrested in Dekalb County and plead guilty to DUI and misdemeanor marijuana possession. (View Mugshot) After serving her time and allegedly cleaning up her act, V-103 gave the popular dee-jay another shot. Upon her return, she replaced Osea the Dark Secret who is now a part time DJ at CBS.
As a condition of her probation, Foxx was required to submit to random drug testing and missed several court ordered monthly tests back in 2006. Her failure to comply caused the court to reinstate her probation. Sources could not confirm if she failed a court ordered test or a work-related one but hopefully this time Foxx will get the help she needs.
The buzz around the airwaves is that Former Hot 107.9 DJ Ramona Debreaux is the top contender for Foxx’s coveted spot. Stay tuned…this story is developing.

I hope it wasn’t drugs but no matter what it was she should have been able to get her **** together enough to comply with her damn order. I doubt v103 has a three strike rule unless who ever gets her spot doesn’t bring in the ratings they want. Then they might take her back….’might’.

I know Ramona is too excited at the possibility of having her own show again cause doing the traffic just wasnt cutting it, lol. Keep your head up Porsche!

I’m no smoker so I’ve never had to do something to help me pass a urine test but there’s no reason she couldn’t of hit a health food store and had them hook her up with some stuff to pass a urine test. I doubt she was getting a hair sample test(even if she was, there’s a shampoo that helps you pass that too.)

December 1, 2008 @ 8:06 pmthat’s a mess. want is up with this chick? she’s an amazing radio personality, but she can’t seem to put her personal demons to rest. what a shame. i really like Porsche and her programming is outstanding (foxscope, lunchbox mix,etc.). hopefully she’ll land another position after she get’s it together.

It will be a smart move that the People Station makes. She’ll bring more ratings from 10-2. I have heard her work and blieve that she is an incredibltalent destined for incredible things; so I sncerely Hope & PRAY that her termination was due to ratings or some other administrative decision.

February 4, 2009 @ 11:06 amI am sad to hear this. I am an Atlanta native and hate to see this. Posche has done so much for the community and really loved her job. I’m gonna pray for her. I was so excited to see her return. Demons do take over, but with prayer God can bring them out. I am a witness to such demons and I’m doing well now and would never go back. There is obviously bad company in Porche’s life and she has got to rid herself of these people and start anew!!!

She was an outstanding DJ and very involved in the community. We are in a spirtual warfare on this earth. All things happen for a reason. “To much is given much is required” Sometime in life we must lose in order to gain. She needs our prayers and not judgement right now. Only God can save & heal her.

We all fell short atleast once or twice in our lives and through the grace of GOD we made it. And we should never, ever forget that. Porche getting fired again could be what she needs…most people have to lose something to gain something and hopefully she will gain her self respect. I pray that this will help her get her self back in order.
