In case you’ve been under a rock, stuck in Atlanta gas lines, or are still checking for more MySpace drama, you may not have noticed that Atlanta has been taken over this weekend. Fresh off the heels of weekend proclamations such as “Luda-Day” and “SO SO Def,” T.I. has decided to claim his own dayum weekend!
The first annual Grand Hustle Weekend began yesterday in celebration of the release of T.I.’s Paper Trail (Sept. 30th) and the launch of his AKOO (A King Of One’s Self) clothing line. The Grand Hustle weekend events continue today (9/27) with Family Skate Day at Cascade Skating Rink this afternoon. Tip will then celebrate his 28th birthday with a black-tie event at an undisclosed location. Sunday, T.I., Jason Geter & Kevin Liles will host a power brunch followed by the weekend finale, a pre-album release party for Paper Trail at the Velvet Room.
