On winning awards:
?No disrespect to Kanye, but that kinda stuff just don?t mean nothing to me. Whether or not I win an award, I mean that?s nice, but at the end of the day I understand that I?m a man. What being a man means to me is not defined by an award or an amount of records sold.?
On how his children are going to deal with his time in prison:
?My oldest is 12?she understands. She?s strong and smart. The three weeks I was in, before I got to come home, she said to me, ?Don?t worry. I?ll hold things down ?til you get back.? I?m more worried about how my boys are going to deal.?
That’s right boys and girls…NeNe, Sheree, DeShawn, Lisa and Kim are all returning for a second season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. You will now get to see more drama from the five ladies of the “A” town. ?I personally, can’t wait. ?Will they put NeNe’s financial problems on blast or sweep them under the rug? ?What about Kim? ?Is Big Papa going to finally make an appearance since we finally know who he is? I can only imagine what’s in store for next season…
Monica and Brandy reunited last night during a “surprise” performance onstage. ?The pair performed “The Boy is Mine” for the first time together in 10 years and the crowd went wild. ?I actually enjoyed the lil bit of the performance I saw while fighting with the crowd to get flix. I’m still p*ssed about not getting my footage but I’m not even going to hate on the event or the event staff…let’s just say they were less than?accommodating.
Soulja Boy Tellem made a special announcement online today stating that he is promising to portray a more positive image for the kids who look up to him:
What’s up, This ya boy Soulja Boy Tellem. ?I’ve got an announcement that I wanna make to all the parents out there whose kids are in love with me and all my fans who listen to my music. ?I just want to tell y’all that I apologize to all of the parents that have heard me say anything that they wouldn’t want their kids to hear coming from me. ?
Over the past few months, I’ve had a chance to meet a lot of my fans face-to-face and it made me realize that I’ve got a large fanbase of kids who look up to me. ?I realize now that I have a greater responsibility to the kids that want to be just like Soulja Boy. I need to set a positive example for them. ?I wouldn’t say a “role model” because I think that the parents or the guardians should be a kid’s main role mode but from now on, I’m gonna make sure that the kids who look up to me will get a positive image that the kids and the parents can trust.
Most celebrities try not to use the word “role model” but I don’t think I can help it though. When I meet parents and they tell me every city I go in ‘Soulja Boy my kids love you!’ I realize- you know – that I gotta do my thang…I gotta set a good example. ?I ain’t in no way perfect but I am clear that I gotta set a perfect example for all the kids that look up to me.?

Young Jeezy and his entire CTE staff hit up the Walmart on Old Nat-L last weekend for Hittmenn DJ’s 6th Annual Toyz N Da Hood toy drive. Jeezy, along with V-103’s Greg Street, shut the toy section down as they competed?against each other to see who could pile up the most toys in 60 seconds. Young Jeezy overwhelmingly defeated Greg Street and Street demanded a recount, stating that Jeezy cheated but it was all in fun. 🙂 ?The toys will be distributed to underprivileged children. Soulja Boy will add to the shopping spree on Friday at the same location.
