The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s 5th season has finally come to a close with the airing of the third installment of the reunion show (April 21, 2013).

All of the Atlanta ‘househusbands’ joined the set for the final installment of the reunion and all the gentlemen had their ladies backs.

Peter Thomas, Gregg Leakes, Todd Tucker and Apollo Nida all spoke up in support of their women while Kordell Stewart and Walter Jackson were noticeably absent.

It’s no secret now why Porsha Stewart’s husband Kordell wasn’t in attendance, since he actually filed for divorce the day after the taping. (I’ll address that later in this post).

Kandi Burruss and her fiance Todd Tucker were first up as they spoke about their relationship.? Bravo’s Andy Cohen reminded the Grammy award winning ‘housewife’ that it was actually a witch doctor in Africa who predicted the relationship during season 4, stating that the love of her life was with her… and always watching her.

At the time,? many felt they were referring to Kandi’s? deceased former fiance Ashley “AJ” Jewell, however it was actually Todd, who was a producer on the set at the time, who was actually always there… watching. *creepy right?*

[Sidebar: That same witch doctor told Nene Leakes that she had a good man in her husband Greg and told Sheree Whitfield she would die lonely and alone in her large home.]

Krazy Shady Kenya Moore got roasted during the episode when the topic of her fake relationship with Walter Jackson came up…

It was quite entertaining to watch the entire cast admit that absolutely NO ONE on the cast ever believed the was relationship was authentic.

As all of the men lit into Kenya, in support of their friend Walter, Moore deflected by twirling on the set and/or singing ‘gone with the wind fabulous’ under her breath.? It was a bit disturbing to watch.

Andy brought up the fact that it’s been said that Kenya “hired” Walter to play her boyfriend, but it’s my understanding that he he was doing her a favor as a friend.

As I’ve stated in the past, RHOA standards require 3 things… family, career, relationship.? At the time Kenya was trying to secure a spot on the show, Kenya didn’t have a family, a relationship and not much of a career.? She desperately needed that RHOA check and was going to get it… enter Walter.

Kenya needed a beau to make her transition to RHOA and I have direct knowledge that she asked a few other men to play the part, but they all turned her down.? Walter took her up on her offer, thinking it would be a great way to promote his tow truck business… hence the work shorts he wore during several episodes.

Greg and Peter both tore into Kenya about being crazy and when Apollo jumped in, Kenya thought she’d create some drama by bringing up their texts.? Andy Cohen shut her down when Kenya showed her “proof”…

So the Apollo/Kenya text gate was open and shut in less than 60 seconds!

Finally the fact that Kordell chose not to appear weighed heavily on Peter Thomas, who brought up the fact that he should be sitting onstage in support of his wife.

The ladies also addressed how they judged Porsha and how they all felt that Kordell was controlling. He wasn’t there to speak for himself so Porsha spoke up for her husband.

Sadly… it was then that we got to witness Porsha’s emotional breakdown.? Porsha cried and ranted uncontrollably for several minutes about how she wanted more from her marriage, her career and her life.? It’s clear there was something going on behind the scenes in her ‘picture perfect life’ and it wasn’t too pretty.

Kordell filed divorce documents one day after the taping of the show and since that time, the pair have been battling about monetary matters and Kordell’s house (which coincidentally Porsha refuses to leave).

Kandi was the only person who actually apologized for speaking about Porsha’s marriage, saying that she felt it was wrong of any of them to speak on someone’s marriage.

And after she calmed down, Porsha finally got the chance to show off her singing voice.? But unfortunately… no one seemed too impressed.

As the show came to an end NeNe made the statement that she felt that there should be another housewife added… and when pushed further, revealed that she felt someone needed to be replaced.

Since we ALL know that Ms. Leakes claims to be Queen B on the set when it comes to hiring and firing (recall how she told former RHOA Sheree Whitfield she was ‘on the wrong team’), her final proclamation has everyone listening.
