I revealed the finalists in the StraightFromTheA Derek J makeover giveaway?on October 25, 2012.

I’d received so many entries that I just couldn’t go through them all by myself, so I had to call in some reinforcement.

Since celebrity hairstylist Derek J was unavailable that night, my boo Funky Dineva stopped by last night in her best wig to help me weed through the entries.

We selected the top 10, but I decided it would only be fair for YOU guys to select the actual winner of the contest.

Earlier today a huge batch of TEA about Atlanta hairstylists Lawrence Washington (right) and Derek J (left) was spilled online.

It’s been rumored for years that the two celebrity stylists have been working on heads without the proper state credentials but apparently some salty hairstylist has decided to dig it all up again.

Antwan “Big Boi” Patton and his lovely wife Sherlita were light years ahead during his annual Big Kidz Foundation Halloween costume party last weekend (October 27, 2012)

The cute couple were color coordinated as Big dressed up as Darth Vader from Star Wars and Sherlita rocked a?marvel comics? punisher costume.

Circus Fun! Atlanta Housewives Under the Big Top… [PHOTOS]

It was fun times at the circus last weekend as a few Atlanta housewives hit up Cirque de Soleil (October 27, 2012).

Celebrity hairstylist Derek J and RHOA season 3 B-character Marlo Hampton joined Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Cynthia Bailey, Phaedra Parks and Kandi Burruss as they took in the acrobatics of the popular traveling french tour group.

Phaedra & Kandi’s significant others, Apollo Nida and Todd Tucker, also joined the group and the couples were also spotted out on a “double date” as they celebrated Park’s birthday.

In a sneak peek of the special,, Derek & Lawrence discuss Nene Leakes and Kim Zolciak’s infamous bus battle from season 3. CLICK HERE to revisit.

NeNe hurled insults at Kim like ?immature dumb blonde,? and even called her assistant Sweetie Hughes a slave. ?Kim fires back but there was no winning that heated battle.

I can’t lie… I was really feeling some kinda way when I saw that another blogger (*cough* SandraRose) had beat me to the punch and given away a makeover from Derek J.

I was like ‘Hol’up! that’s MY stylist!”

Derek J has taken me from weave to natural and back to weave again… I’ve gone from 16inches of Brazilian to 30 inches of Malaysian (yeah… I’m extra, but whatev)!

I’m certainly NOT one of his celebrity clients but the great thing about Derk is that he treats you like you are. He’s amazing and I’m honored to put my head in his hands.
