It?s Official! #AtlantaExes Reality Show Airs Summer 2014! (Press Release + Meet The Cast)

I post last Summer that an Atlanta version of ‘Hollywood Exes’ was in the works and exclusively revealed that it would be anchored by none other than Tameka Raymond (Usher’s ex-wife) and guess what… I was right.

My cast prediction was accurate (at the time) but there have since been some changes.

In addition to Tameka, there’s Monyetta Shaw (Ne-Yo’s ex), Christina Johnson (Ceelo Green’s ex), Sheree Buchanan (Ex Atl Falcon Ray Buchannan’s Ex) and instead of Idris Elba’s ex (who I heard was too boring for tv), there’s now Torrei Hart (Kevin Hart’s ex).

You guys will have yet another Atlanta-based reality show to add to your watch list soon as VH1 just officially announced that there is in fact an “Atlanta Exes” spin-off in the works which will air sometime this Summer 2014.

I feel like I just found Waldo! 🙂

Andre 3000 of Outkast was spotted partying with his crew last Saturday night in Atlanta (January 25, 2014).

As you know, Outkast is prepping for a huge return in 2014, which marks the 20th anniversary of?their first album, ‘Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik‘ (released April 26, 1994).

Dre partied alongside Fonzworth Bentley & Raheem DeVaughn at Atlanta’s Compound night club and according to photographer Prince Williams of ATLPics:

He was very polite and greeted every screaming fan. He seemed happy to be back.

Rumors of their demise have been greatly exaggerated (at least that’s what they want you to think)!

A few days ago a huge rumor broke out that Clifford ‘T.I.’ Harris and his wife Tameka ‘Tiny’ Cottle-Harris were calling it quits.

It all started with a cryptic message Tip posted as the couple were in L.A. enjoying Grammy week, where he implied that his life was about to change.

Tip mentioned things were about to change but he’s since deleted the post. ?He’s also publicly acknowledged the ‘rumor’.

President Barack Obama delivered his annual State of The Union Address last night (January 28, 2014).

During his speech, Obama identified areas where he felt he and Congress could work in unison while also making note of issues that distinguished the Democrats from the Republicans.

In illustrating a willingness to act on his own, Obama also announced that he will sign an executive order increasing the minimum wage from $7.25 to $10.10 for new federal contracts and encouraged the private sector to do the same.

We need to raise to minimum wage to ensure that people working full time don't live in poverty. Give America a raise!! #SOTU

City of Atlanta Paralyzed by ‘Snow Jam 2014’ // Mayor Kasim Reed Responds? #ATLSnow [PHOTOS + VIDEO]

A winter storm has paralyzed metro Atlanta and other parts of Georgia and prompted Gov. Nathan Deal to declare a state of emergency for all 159 counties in Georgia Tuesday afternoon (January 28, 2014).

It was all fun and games until people found out they couldn’t get home!

As everyone left work around the same time, it only took a few hours for traffic in Atlanta to come to a complete halt, stranding hundreds on icy roads and interstates.

Any hope of a winter wonderland was crushed by the miserable reality that it was dangerous ‘black ice’ coating roads and preventing cars from moving at all. By late Tuesday evening, hundreds of vehicles had been abandoned as many were still stuck on interstates and side streets throughout the metro area.
