Porsha Stewart of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is denying widespread rumors that the pending divorce filed by her “controlling” ex-NFL baller hubby, Kordell Stewart, is a publicity stunt.

While I highly doubt that the couple would take the same fraudulent route of Nene & Gregg (who went all the way through with ending their marriage (on paper), which basically secured Nene’s million dollar RHOA payday (click HERE to refresh your memory) and won them a reality spin-off based on their “RE” marriage.

But I digress…

Things have been looking up for Porsha since all of the divorce drama started, which basically secured her spot on the popular show after her lackluster performance during the 5th season.

But despite all of the speculation, Porsha says it’s not a front (and I believe her).

Many sites have claimed that Porsha and Kordell are merely creating a spectacle for the RHOA cameras especially after Kordell began making comments on pictures of Porsha on instagram.

While that could be a sign that Kordell was having 2nd thoughts, I’m almost positive that their situation isn’t manufactured.

Porsha (through her representative) recently denied the publicity stunt rumors with HipHopHollywood, stating:

That?s absolutely ridiculous. Given everything this abrupt filing has put her through in the public, she would never bring something like this on herself, ESPECIALLY with them having a child in the house. She wishes things could have been different but that simply is not possible.

My sources feel that Kordell filed the paperwork as a controlling method to get Porsha OFF the show but it seems it all backfired on him. And while Kordell’s instagram messages may have been heartfelt, the humiliating divorce filing has left his future ex-wife with renewed ambition to carry on in the public eye.

On a recent ‘Watch What Happens LIVE!’ appearance, the Porsha spoke candidly about how hurt she was about the filing, while fighting back tears.

Personally… I don’t think she’s a good enough actress to pull off a scam like that.But then again… if Nene could fake one, I guess anything’s possible. 😯
