Remember Michel’le from back in the day? The singer had a squeaky, high-pitched speaking voice which totally changed once she opened her mouth to sing. Anyway, the old school singer has filed child support charges against her ex-hubby, Marion Suge Knight and is seeking over $40,000 of unpaid court-order spousal and child support for their 7 year old daughter, Balei (pictured above):

Singer Michel’le has filed child support charges against her Ex-husband Marion Suge Knight, reports the Wall Street Journal. Michel’le is asking for $40,476 in three-months of unpaid court-ordered spousal and child support.  In addition to the $40,476, she is asking that she receive $13,492 in child support each month for her child Balei, whom she had with the former head of Death Row records seven years ago. In 1997, Toussaint “agreed to marry Knight while he was serving a prison sentence for assault and battery.” Soon after Bailei’s birth in 2002, her  relationship with Suge Knight ended.

In the coming months, Michel’le will be  heading to bankruptcy court since Suge is believed to be bankrupt; Suge filed for bankruptcy three years ago.

Michel’le also has another son named Marcel, with whom she had with rapper/producer Dr. Dre. (Source)

A lot of people are surprised to hear of Michel’le’s links to both Dre and Suge but she and Dre were in a longterm relationship way before he even left the World Class Wrecking Crew. Michel’le was even featured on a WCWC song, “Turn off the lights” and her 1st CD album was produced by her then boyfriend Dre. I’m almost positive her relationship with the both of them was one of the factors in Death Row’s demise.

Newsflash! Suge Knight has been knocked the f*ck out… AGAIN!  Last night during a party at the W Hotel in Phoenix two groups of men began arguing in the V.I.P. sections. Officers arrived and said they watched as a group of about six to eight guests exited the VIP area. Police said they saw one person, later identified as Robert Carnes Jr., punch Knight in the head two times.

The officers arrested Thomas Anderson (left) and Robert Carnes (right) and and booked them into Scottsdale City Jail last night. Carnes allegedly attempted to drop names to avoid arrest, as he told officers that he was Akon’s business manager. *Akon’s publicist later corrected Carnes in a statement released below.* Knight was transported to Scottsdale Healthcare-Osborn Hospital, where he was treated for extensive facial injuries.

ANDERSON is charged with 1 count of misdemeanor Disorderly Conduct. CARNES Jr. is charged with 1 count of Felony Aggravated Assault. (Felony charge is due to the severity of the victim’s injuries.)”

UPDATE: Akon’s people tell us, “Akon had already left the party and was in his hotel room at The W when the incident occurred.”

UPDATE: Akon’s publicist released the following statement about Robert Carnes Jr., the guy accused of beating Suge’s ass: “He is not Akon’s business manager, David Bolno is. He is with Akon’s camp.” (Source 1 and 2 )

Check out Marion “Suge” Knight’s newest mugshot.  Knight posed for the shot yesterday after being arrested by Las Vegas police for assaulting his girlfriend.  According to reports, Knight, 43, was driving in a car with the woman early Wednesday morning when they began to argue. She alleges that he punched her so she grabbed the vehicle’s wheel causing the car to stop.  When police arrived on the scene they saw Knight standing over her with a knife in his hand. He was taken to the Clark County Detention Center where officers found Ecstacy and Hydrocodone in his possession. Knight was charged with assault with a deadly weapon, battery, domestic violence, and drug possession.  He has since posted bail in the amount of $19,000 with the promise to appear in court on September 26th.

A woman beater???  Who woulda thunk it?
