Another day… another professional sports fielder gets popped for drug charges. *sigh*

For many longtime Atlanta Braves fans, Otis Nixon is a familiar name.

Nixon, who was once a stellar outfielder, collecting over 600 stolen bases in 17 seasons from 1983-99, played several teams including the Atlanta Braves, Cleveland Indians and Montreal Expos.

He has faced several challenges since leaving baseball and is now facing drug charges following a weekend drug arrest in Cherokee County.

NEWSFLASH: Trey Songz Off The Hook in Stripper Assault Case…

Trey Songz and a two lady friends were spotted enjoying the festivities of Cinco De Mayo (May 5th – Mexican Independence Day).

Songz was accused a few months ago of slapping a stripper in the face with a few dollar bills in a NYC strip club and the young lady involved pressed assault charges against the sexy crooner.

Now Songz is free to celebrate his own ‘independence’ since he no longer has to worry about criminal charges in the case.

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta aired the 3 episode of it’s 2nd season last night and it seems like the common theme is threesomes this seasons.

Scrappy, Erica Dixon and Shay Johnson… Mimi Faust, Stevie J & Joseline… Rasheeda, Kirk and Whasserface… Karlie Redd, Benzino and Joseline… Joseline, Stevie J and her new Manager… Mimi, Ariane, and Rasheed,… Traci Steele, DJ Baby Drew and whatever “ho” he’s messing with this week.

You may or may not know who Sheneka Adams is… but perhaps you’ll get to know a lil bit better after this post.

Sheneka is an Atlanta model/socialite who is mostly known for her pretty face and slim waist, but recently my inbox was flooded by a few of her concerned (or nosy) instagram/twitter followers who wanted to share her recent pap smear photos.

Now before you go running for the hills, I must relay that the photos are not as graphic as you might imagine, but they do beg the question of ‘how far is too far’ on social media?

Rapper Trinidad James was honored with a private dinner at Atlanta’s TreeSound Studios last week (May 2, 2013).

TreeSound Owner/Operator Mali Hunter (who also happens to be a great chef) made a glorious spread for friends, family and fans to honor the up & coming rapper for going GOLD with his first studio album, entitled “Don’t Be S.A.F.E.,” which features his hit song “All Gold Everything”.
