BMI’s Unsigned Artists Showcase was held in Atlanta on May 18, 2011 and just about all of Atlanta was in the house!

Miss Lawrence “Closet Freak” Washington and celebrity hairstylist Derek J of The Real Housewives of Atlanta stole the glory from all the hoods in the house as they strutted in looking as FAB-U-LESS as ever!

Lawrence was rocking a new blond doo and his makeup was flawless…

Derek J was spotted hugged up in the corner with this broad (Lemme find out he ain’t gay! 😆 )

Up & coming Real Housewives of Atlanta superstar “Miss Lawrence” aka Lawrence Washington, may sing about being a “closet freak” but he’s definitely not in the closet.

I’m sure the only closet Lawrence knows about is the one that holds all of his fabulous furs and couture clothing!? Miss Lawrence was spotted at Fantasia Barrino’s MuseumBar performance rocking a pair of brown thigh-high Christian Louboutin boots…

[Sidebar: It’s a dayum shame how these dudes’ shoe game are sh*ttin’ on most “real” females! But I digress.]

Lawrence was also joined by fellow “Men in Pumps” alum, celebrity hairstylist Derek J, whose footwork was equally impressive.

Another day, another Christmas Party! BMI’s Atlanta offices celebrated the holidays with a party hosted by Dallas Austin, Devyne Stephens and Sean Garrett (December 9) at Atlanta?s Halo Lounge.

Several A-town homies were spotted at the festive event, including DJ Toomp, Derek J, Jazze Pha, Roger Bob (Tyler Perry Studios) and more.

T.I., Yung Joc, Derek J & More Support Ebony Steele’s Bare Chest for Breast Cancer Event

Congratulations to Ebony Steele, Co-Host of the Rickey Smiley Morning Show and Susan G. Komen/General Mills Circle of Promise Ambassador on a successful Bare Chest for Breast Cancer fashion benefit. The event took place last night (October 28) at Club Opera in Midtown Atlanta.

Surprise attendees included Atlanta?s own Yung Joc, Celebrity Hair Stylist Derek J, Clifford “T.I.” Harris (who’s preparing to enter the clink on Monday to serve his 11 month jail sentence)and a host of Atlanta notables.

Tip, Yung Joc and Derek J took to the stage and expressed their support of the importance of breast cancer awareness since all have witnessed the effects of the disease in some form in their respective families.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Celebrate Season 3 Premiere… [PHOTOS]

The highly anticipated Season 3 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta premiered last night (Oct 4th) and the “housewives” threw two separated events to celebrate the occasion.

Kandi Burruss, along with new “housewives” Cynthia Bailey & Phaedra Parks participated in the festivities over at Justin’s while Kim Zolciak hosted her own bash at Twist.

Unofficial “housewife” Celebrity hairstylist Derek J with Kim Zolciak

Noticeably absent were NeNe Leakes (and her new nose)…. oh… and Sheree Whitfield. The two obviously chose to party elsewhere. Perhaps they’re still in New York after appearing on The Wendy Williams Show yesterday. [If you missed it, CLICK HERE to watch]
