[FLASHBACK: Atlanta Man Wins Million Dollar Lottery Two Times in a Row!]
Meet Ira Curry (pictured above). Curry is a 56 year old wife, mother of adult children and a grandmother who neighbors in her upper middle class subdivision in Stone Mountain (an Atlanta suburb) refer to as ?sweet? and guess what…?? she’s now a ‘sweet’ millionaire after claiming her share of last week’s $648 million dollar Mega Millions jackpot!
In the case of Delma Kinney, an Atlanta man who won a milli on a scratch off ticket three years ago….. it’s like deja vu all over again after he scratched his way to his second (yes SECOND) $1 million payday!

Have you ever heard of a “reluctant” millionaire? Neither have I! But while some people strive to be rich, or will die tryin’, there are two lottery winners who weren’t in such a hurry.
They actually held off collecting their millions because they were “reluctant” about being rich.
Ain’t that a b*tch!
The Mega Millions numbers were drawn on Aug. 20, 2010, and there was a winning ticket sold in North Carolina. Raleigh Hill discovered he was blessed with being the owner of that winning ticket but he delayed claiming the proceeds from the million-dollar win.
He didn’t even tell his wife about it until several weeks after realizing his ticket was a winner!
So why the delayed gratification you ask? Continue Reading…
In news mainstream media doesn’t want you to know… a Georgia Lottery employee was arrested back in September 2010 and charged with possession with intent to distribute several illegal drugs & narcotics.
I’d heard the story but was surprised when not ONE media outlet picked it up. I had to dig up the mugshot on my own since apparently someone wants to keep this kind of stuff out of the public eye.
Anywhoo… Kelly Jo McGuire, a lottery sales representative (pictured to your right), was arrested September 7, 2010 while performing her daily route selling and servicing the lotto’s Keno game to retail locations.
McGuire visited lottery retailers daily as part of her job description but apparently she also made special deliveries of happy pills and other illegal drugs.
According to McGuire’s arrest record, she was picked up coming out of a Canton Rd. store in Marietta and a search of her employer issued lottery van yielded a stockpile of various illegal drugs.
McGuire was arrested and charged with 6 counts of possession of controlled substances and 1 count of possessing pills outside of a container. I heard she had at least 2 kilos of cocaine.
I bet there’s a lot of angry retailers out there still waiting for their “special” delivery. All I know is… can I hit the numba?
