Guess who’s back!? It’s the QUEEN b*tches….
Beyonce released the artwork for her newest single, Run the World (Girls) and the internet is going apesh*t.
The song, written by none other than Terius “The-Dream” Nash, will officially made it’s radio debut today and it kicks off the highly anticipated release of her upcoming as-yet-untitled fourth solo album.

Mr. and Mrs. Carter were spotted earlier today (April 20, 2011) enjoying mid-day cocktails at the famous L’Avenue restaurant in Paris France.
Beyonce’s new single, “Girl (Who Rule the World)” has leaked to less than spectacular reviews, with one site calling it “all kinds of bad” (click HERE to listen).
The song may be bad to some, but according to director Francis Lawrence, the new video for song will be the best thing since sliced bread:
“I just shot a Beyonc? video at the beginning of this last week – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday – which was fun, and I hadn’t done a video since 2009,” he told MTV.
“The video’s for the song ‘Girls’ – it’s off her new album. She would probably have me shot if I said anything… Some stuff spilled out, but she wasn’t happy about it, so I’ve been sworn to secrecy.”
“It’ll be big – it’ll probably be one of the bigger Beyonc? music videos ever done. And, I can say that I think the song is unbelievable.” (source)
Anything Beyonce touches turns to platinum, so I can only imagine that this video will be spectacular. Let’s hope so.

If you weren’t offended enough the first time, I’ve got way more photos of Beyonce’s “Blackface” photo shoot.
But before you take a gander at Queen B’s African alter ego, know that there’s also been a ton of misinformation floating around the net about the shoot.
L?Officiel magazine sent over a statement asking me to clarify a few things.
First… the shoot was NOT done as a tribute to Nigerian human rights activist and musician Fela Kuti, as was first reported, but was meant as a homage to all African queens.
Second… the magazine wants you to know that Beyonce’s controversial “Blackface” makeup is actually inspired by “African rituals during which paint is used on the face”. [insert side-eye here].
I don’t profess to know any African rituals, and maybe all the talk of Beyonce lightening her skin has exacerbated (big word, look it up) the situation, but the photos have definitely created quite a stir and most people don’t, can’t or won’t see their artistic vision.
Whatever the case, Beyonce is back on the hotline and that’s all that matters!
