As you know, I was first to report that the couple had separated late last year and were living in separate residences (click HERE if you missed that).
According to court records, Quad officially filed for divorce from her husband, Dr. Gregory Lunceford, on May 1, 2018.
Quad Webb-Lunceford and Dr. Greg Lunceford’s marriage began to disintegrate right in front of our eyes last season as they both expressed frustrations about the state of their relationship all season long.
Quad’s refusal to start a family was a major bone of contention in the relationship and apparently Dr. G also chose to seek affection outside of the relationship, as he was soon blasted for being with another woman in a hotel room.
Whatever the case, Quad was first to hit the courthouse as she’s the plaintiff in the pending divorce action, which was filed May 1, 2018.
It’s no secret that the marriage started on a shaky foundation and I’m sure that appearing on a reality show didn’t help matters.
Whatever the case, divorce between these two isn’t surprising as the couple mentioned parting ways several times during the last season.
“So you want to get a divorce,” Quad asks Dr. Greg during the couple’s interview. “What are you saying right now? Why are you saying this right now,” responds a somewhat stunned Dr. Greg.
“Because here’s the thing. You’re 50 right? And I’m 36. Why are we wasting time?” Quad fires back at her husband
Fans of Married to Medicine witnessed the troubles of several marriages last season. Dr. Jackie dealt with public humiliation after her husband was caught cheating (but the eventually reconciled), while Dr. Simone and her husband, Cecil have reportedly filed for divorce as well.
