There’s been a rumor floating around that Kenya Moore of The Real Housewives of Atlanta would be earning a whopping $600,000 to return for season 6 of the popular reality show.

A “source” revealed the following information to U.S. Magazine recently, stating:

Kenya is very happy to be back!” the source tells Us. According to the insider, Moore, 42, will also get a substantial raise for her contributions to the Bravo show’s success — a whopping $600,000 for the season, with additional bonuses based on ratings.

NeNe [Leakes], Kim [Zolciak] and Kandi [Burruss] make $800,000 a season but they can make more for doing certain special things, like Kim taking off her wig.”

Phaedra and Porsha make $50,000 per season.

I’m almost positive you guys are smart enough to have already figured out that report wasn’t true!

But just in case y’all were starting to believe Kenya’s $600,000 hype, Andy Cohen set the record straight on twitter recently…

And in case that wasn’t enough shade… Cohen threw more when he was asked the same question a few days later:

Newsflash! You can’t out ‘queen’ a Queen Miss Moore! 😆

It was obvious to me right off the bat that Moore’s “camp” sent out the bogus report. Hell… it’s not like Kenya has a record of being honest and trustworthy!

At any rate, a close source to the show revealed to Urban Belle that it actually was Moore’s “people” who sent out the bogus story:

?Kenya?s camp sent that story to US Weekly and the numbers are totally made up. NeNe Leakes is the highest paid housewife in the franchise and that?s not changing anytime soon. If it did, she would walk away in a heartbeat.

Bravo is one of the best paying networks, no one on that show is making $50k. Funny Kenya?s people would make up such low numbers for her least favorite housewives and make no mention of Cynthia?s salary and then suggest Kim gets paid extra for not wearing wigs. The whole story reads like a terribly written bad joke.

Lastly, Kenya has no clue how much anyone else is making besides herself. That?s not the kind of information any of the ladies would be willing to share.

Honestly, Kenya is probably laughing at all the free press she’s getting right now. Unlike a normal, sane person, Kenya could care less about being caught in a lie…. it’s all about the publicity!
