Rapper Shawty Lo aka Carlos Walker was arrested yesterday in Atlanta, Georgia (January 18, 2013).

The miniature rapper has been in the press lately after a his ‘All My Babies Mamas’ reality show was picked up by the Oxygen Network and later dropped after public outrage sparked an online petition.

Coincidentally, Lo who has at least 10 baby mamas and 11 children, was reportedly picked up by Atlanta Police downtown yesterday after a warrant was issued for delinquent child support payments.

Shawty Lo shared the photo above as he was taping a segment for CNN?s Showbiz Tonight to discuss the controversy surrounding the ?All My Babies Mamas? reality show, which features the rappers experiences dealing with his 10 baby mamas and 11 children, when APD showed up to take him into custody for a child support issue.

Someone snapped a photo as low was being led out of the studio in handcuffs, which circulated quickly online…. but lo & behold, the fertile father was in & out of custody in a matter of hours.

Shawty Lo then shared the following photo & tweet after being bailed out by a friend…

On a related note, just prior to his arrest, Shawty Lo revealed to TMZ that while his reality show may have been booted from Oxygen, he’s still fielding offers and plans to move forward with his project.

Oxygen decided to scrap the project before it ever aired after parents groups complained that the show, titled “All My Babies Mamas,” would glorify an irresponsible lifestyle.

Now, Shawty tells us he’s actively shopping the show to other networks and he’s already gotten a few bites, explaining, “There are offers on the table.”

As for the criticism, Shawty says, “I take pride in having been actively present in all my children’s lives — and I understand my family doesn’t represent the typical American family, but it’s my family and it works for us.”

Clearly he needs to dough to pay “all his babies mamas” child support…. 😯
