Nene Leakes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta hit the red carpet the Television Critics Association?s NBC Universal 2012 Summer Press Tour in Los Angeles earlier this week (July 24, 2012).

The reality show starlit matched her shirt with her hair for the event and she also broke out her lucky black bra as she spoke up about the character she’ll be playing on NBC’s ‘The New Normal.”

?It?s about two gay guys who are partners for life and are looking for a surrogate,? she summarized. ?I play Rocky, who is outspoken, sassy, holds her own.?

Leakes and the show have come under fire from a conservative activist group called One Million Moms, who say they believe the sitcom is anti-marriage.

When asked about the proposed boycotts, Leakes responded:

Listen, I?m around gays every day.I believe that the new normal is something that is not traditional. And if living means you are with another man holding hands, that?s fine with me.

Who am I to say you can?t hold hands with the person that you say you love? (source)

Right… and who are we to say Nene can’t own more than one of the same lucky black bra? But I digress…
