Martin Luther King Day means different things to different people and while some consider it a ‘day-off’ many take the national holiday as a ‘day-on’ and pay homage to the late, great civic leader by spreading his message of peace through service.
That being said… while several ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta‘ cast members chose to pop bottles up in the club, Attorney Phaedra Parks and legendary actress Kim Fields chose to spend their time in Miami for a peaceful ‘do-over’ with Florida Representative Frederica Wilson.
Fields caught a bit of flack after last week’s episode where she chose to excuse herself from a meeting with the Representative, stating that the subject matter was ‘too adult’ for her 8 year old son.

Another day, another innocent Black man gets shot by a police officer!

For the record, the officer was wearing street clothes and driving an unmarked car. What happened next has been disputed by Jones’ family members and authorities, but what is clear is that another innocent Black man has been killed by an ‘officer of the law’.
