Media mogul Oprah Winfrey was spotted in New York City earlier today (October 25, 2012) and totally caught the paparazzi off guard with her furry footwork.

Winfrey, who took a moment to browse the sportswear at Morgane Le Fay in NYC, was all smiles as she rocked her lime green ultra comfy fluffy slippers on her track throughout the big city.

Media maven Oprah Winfrey is all smiles in?the November edition of Harper’s Bazaar magazine.

In the article, Winfrey, who was shot by photographer Terry Richardson, discusses her decision to take on her OWN network.

Regarding her life changing career move, Miss O drops another classic “Oprah-ism” and states:

“When you have reached the peak of a mountaintop, which is where I was with the Oprah show, you have absolutely no worries,” she explains of the ambitious undertaking.

“I’d been in the right space at the right time, and I’d done that in the best way possible for 25 years. But you have two choices: You can come down from the mountain and spend the rest of your days thinking it was so beautiful there, or you can create a vision, look upward, see the next mountain, and start the climb all over again.”
