Usher Raymond, III and Rihanna could be well on the way to becoming the next musical power couple!

Ursh and the red-headed Bajan beauty met up during the Coachella music festival last weekend, where they apparently showed a “romantic interest” in each other.

An unidentified source revealed to the tabloids that the two hot single singers have always had a connection but the timing just wasn’t right….

They had a really good time together last weekend and wanted to see each other again somewhere private straight after. They’ve known each other for a long time but it’s always been bad timing.

They’ve had a few long, passionate kisses. There’s definitely a spark between them.

After posing for the pic above at the festival in California, the singers reportedly met for a secret date at a New York hotel.

It would have been too obvious to go somewhere in LA and they were both going back to New York for work commitments.”

Rihanna has openly admitted she’s single and likes to be “tied up and spanked” and although Usher is known to like ’em quite a bit older, a pairing with RiRi couldn’t be too bad for his image.

Of course we already know at least two people who won’t be rooting for the new “power couple”….

Although they’ve performed together in the past, Rihanna’s ex, Chris Brown and Usher are not the best of friends….? and Usher’s ex, Tameka Foster Glover Raymond has been known to wanna fight a b*tch over Usher.
