Rapper Soulja Boy is certainly no stranger to marijuana but when authorities raided his dressing room in Florida, it was his publicist who reportedly took the fall for the stash.

Meet Erica Nailor, Soulja Boy’s publicist. Nailor, was taken into custody on Wednesday after police found 10.2 grams of weed in Soulja Boy’s dressing room at Club La Vela in Panama City, FL.

Apparently ‘someone’ tipped off police with reports of heavy weed smoke backstage and whey they raided his dressing room, Nailor was the one to take the fall.

When asked about the sticky situation, Soulja Boy says it obvious that someone set up his crew and that his publicist is wrongly accused.

He gave TMZ a play-by-play of the raid, saying he’d been in the dressing room for all of 2 minutes before cops busted in and that ‘no one was even smoking’.

Cops are saying the venue contacted them after someone smelled ganja burning in the room.
Soulja claims nobody in his entourage was smoking … and the weed cops — who found less than half an ounce — wrongfully pinned it on his publicist, Erica Nailor. As Soulja puts it … she got nailed in a case of “wrong place, wrong time.” (source)

Nailor has been charged with possession of cannabis and is in custody awaiting her first hearing.
