An impromptu interview given to a reporter by a bystander has caused yet another news video to go viral. As you know, viral videos have been known to make many an ‘incogNegro’ famous and I predict, April Williams (pictured above) could be next up on the list.

Williams, a citizen of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was interviewed for her local news station back in December and she eloquently explained how disgusting the public transit is in the area.

It only took less than a minute and a few mispronounced words for Williams to become the latest viral sensation on social media.

Here’s a little background on the viral video:
A Baton Rouge news station (WBRZ) interviewed April Williams as they were reporting on the ‘Capital Area Transit’ system. The public bus line has been under scrutiny after failing to make improvements promised over 2 years ago. Voters apparently approved an increase in busfare & taxes to raise $10 million for the cash strapped bus system, but still no improvements have been made.
“It took us a little while, it took us two years to start delivering on our promises,” Maribito said. “But heck, I just started two years ago I think we’re doing great, I just want to make the system better.”
CATS CEO Bob Mirabito said, keeping their word has been their priority. There are six new buses and new express lines, but many of the things still need work.
Only 10 new routes were added out of a promised 17. New transfer centers are still in the works and most buses need to be replaced.
“New buses are half a million dollars a piece,” Mirabito said. “It would be 22 million dollars to replace them, we don’t have that right now so we have to find creative ways to make the fleet better.” (READ MORE)
