Nene Leakes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is flying high on the success of the debut episode of her new ‘I Dream of Nene: The Wedding’ spin-off show, but she’s out to squash rumors that she’s had a lil nip/tuck prior to her ceremony.

Now before you start singing ‘liar, liar pants on fire!’… Nene was real specific in her denial.

As you know, Nene Leakes went through a nose job during the 2nd season of the popular reality show and while her look has changed drastically over the years, she denies having any “major” work done to her face.

In a recent interview with the Huffington Post, Nene reveals she’s had some work done but claims the rumors about her face “work” are all false.

“I believe in a lil ‘nip/tuck’… if I had a facelift I would say it.”

Facelift no.? Nose job? yes…. but who’s keeping track of all that? 😯

VIDEO: Nene Leakes Talks Plastic Surgery Rumors

Leakes told HuffPost Live’s Caitlyn Becker that the rumors ramped up after she made an appearance during Fashion Week with different makeup and long hair extensions that changed her look.

“I’m thinking, ‘A facelift, really?'” Leakes said. “I’m in my early 40s. I don’t need a facelift. Honey, I am black, and I don’t need a facelift.”

That doesn’t mean she won’t ever change her mind. The “Real Housewives” star added that she isn’t opposed to a little face work in her 60s.

“I believe in a nip tuck,” she said. “I believe you should always look good or however you feel. Whatever makes you feel great.”

And she freely admits that she’s had work done before, though it was a little south of her face.

“I don’t want breasts that hang down. I want them to say hello,” she said. “And I bought them. If I had a facelift, I would say it.” (source)
