After the unceremonious departure of Sheree Whitfield from The Real Housewives of Atlanta, we all knew it was only a matter of time before a new chick would be taking her place.

Kandi Burruss revealed during the taping of her late night show Kandi Koated Nights last week, that taping has already begun for season 5 of the RHOA and while I pressed for some info about who would be joining the cast, Burruss would not reveal any information.

I finally got the tea I needed anyway *happy dance* and while I know that Bravo was seeking TWO new housewives, I’m pretty confident in my source who revealed at least ONE of them to me.

Word on the curb is that former Miss USA Kenya Moore, who just so happens to be looking to relocate to Atlanta will be joining the cast next season and has already begun taping.

Details…

The strikingly beautiful Moore is about 5’10 and will probably fit right in with team talls, that is… if NeNe and Cynthia can handle playing the background to her beauty.

Since Monyetta Shaw (singer Ne-Yo‘s baby mama) turned down the a spot on the show and negotiations stalled with Toya Wright, it appears that the 41 year old beauty will be the one to add that true celebrity component that Bravo was looking for.

UNFORTUNATELY Moore is not from Atlanta, nor does she even live here!

But she IS currently seeking a property…. so I guess that makes her eligible. *shrug*

I don’t know what her Atlanta ties are, but Moore was once linked to former NFL baller Terrell Owens, who had a home here, but that’s about all I know.

As far as her dating life is concerned, Kenya is single and ready to mingle so maybe she and NeNe will be hitting the bars together in search of Mr. Right. (Oh wait! They may be “divorced” but trust and believe Gregg ain’t playing that mess!)

I’m wondering if there will be any “friendly” competition between ‘supermodel’ Cynthia Bailey and Kenya since Moore has covered way more magazines than Bailey ever will, including Glamour, Seventeen, Ebony and Essence.

Kenya has also flaunted her curvacious body on several health & fitness magazines, but it’s her Smooth Magazine butt shots that get rave reviews from the fellas.

While I have no clue how she’ll actually fit in to the current cast, Kenya has at least one thing in common with the Atlanta housewives, she already has a Derek Blanks alter ego shoot under her belt.

And our RHOA grand thespian NeNe Leakes may also feel some kinda way after finding that she’s not the only “actress” on TEAM TALLS.

Moore is has acted in several movie roles: Waiting to Exhale, Deliver Us from Eva and the 2007 Lindsay Lohan thriller I Know Who Killed Me.

She also starred in Producer Will Packer‘s first movie to be released theatrically, the independent film ‘Trois‘ which also starred Gretchen Palmer and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation star Gary Dourdan.
