Former SoSo Def standout Shawntae “DaBrat” Harris is fresh out of jail after a serving the majority of a 3 year bid for assaulting a waitress with a bottle at Jermaine Dupri’s “Studio 72” nightclub.

Brat was released early for good behavior but did you know that she got in trouble for doing that video with Jermaine Dupri while she was on work release?

The video managed to cost Brat several months of freedom PLUS visits from her family!

In a recent interview, Brat explained:

I did a little video with JD a while back and they took my passes for three months. Passes allow you to have home visits and see your folks.

They also wrote me up for taking a picture with a police officer, but these are people saying that they love me and I missed that. But the officers didn?t even want me to have that little bit of shine and freedom. If someone is a fan, I gotta give love back. You can?t take that away from me.

Dang… that knee-grow flat out REFUSED to visit her “A”zz while she was locked up and he still managed to cause problems. *sigh*

I guess that’s what friends are for.

In her “post-prison” interview, Brat also dishes on Lil Kim and speaks on whether you’ll see her on Lisa Raye’s reality show.
