Flavor Flav is a full time “entrepreNegro” now that he’s opened his first friend chicken restaurant in Iowa, but his life still isn’t complete.

Flav, whose real name is William Drayton Jr., grew up in Freeport, N.Y. and says he dropped out of school in 10th grade.? Now he’s been inspired to earn his high school diploma and wants to do it in the state he started his buisness. (Oh… and he record it all for a new reality TV show!)

Drayton opened Flav’s Fried Chicken in Clinton, Iowa last month and just last week, the 51-year-old pitched his idea for “Flavor Flav Goes Back to High School” to the local school superintendent and a school board member.

Flav says he’ll approach the full board in a couple of weeks. As you know, Flavor Flav was a member of the iconic ’80s hip-hop group Public Enemy and has since found new fame on reality shows.

One thing’s for sure… he should never be late for class!!
