EUR has revealed that Mrs. Usher Raymond can’t spell…that’s right people, she even admits it an interview. Supposedly, word has been circulating that Meka is a practicing “Scientologist” and that she only married Usher to bring him into the fold. (I guess that would explain alot…)
When asked of the rumor, Tameka promptly replied, “Honey, I can’t even spell it! No, I am not a Scientologist,” to which Usher added: “I’m friends with Tom Cruise, so people think that’s what happened.” (Source)
I, personally could care less what “sect” they claimin…but I know a bunch of you will eat this ish up!
Mr. and Mrs. Usher Raymond, III were spotted making out in the audience at the 2008 Grammy Awards. I personally think all this “affection” was overkill…but, hey…who am I?
Usher and Young Jeezy have joined forces to create “Love in this Club”. I like it…but I’m biased to all things “A”!

Usher’s father, Usher Raymond III, passed away at an Atlanta hospital on January 18th. I originally spotted this over at UsherForever.com and decided to do some digging myself. It appears that the news is true and that the funeral will be held at the Taylor Funeral Home chapel in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
There have been no reports on the cause of death as of this time. It is well known that Usher’s father left when he was young and his mother raised him alone. Reportedly, Usher didn’t really have a relationship with his father but I’m sure that the news is still hard for him to take. I send out my sincere condolences to he and his family. (Source)
The 16th annual Trumpet Awards were held in the “A” last weekend (as well as a monster truck rally and an Atlanta Thrashers hockey game)! Downtown traffic was on lock…but I did navigate through in time to meet my friends at Stats to watch the game!
My favorite elf/actor/rapper, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges received the Usher Raymond Altruism Award for his philanthropy and his establishing a foundation to use music and the arts to connect to urban youth.

Since I wasn’t privy to the goings on at the awards show, I dug up a few photos of the event. Attendees included Mayor Shirley Franklin, Chris Tucker, Brian Jordan, Andrew Young, Keith Sweat, Frank Ski and more.
