The ever beautiful Keri Hilson performed at an event hosted by Lexus last night in Atlanta and I decided to crash the party and try out my new camcorder. Keri graced the stage at Puritan Mill and performed about 4 songs and I caught 3 of them on camera. In the video above, she performs the original version of Runaway Love and in the two under the cut she performs Mary J. Blige’s “Take Me As I Am” and ends the show with “Energy”. (more…)

Ne Ne Leakes, your favorite housewife on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta, recently faced the recession head on. The breakout star of the popular show and her husband, real estate investor Gregory Leakes were recently evicted from the 5,000-square-foot, 5-bedroom home shown on the hit Bravo series. Per the AJC, the couple received notice, filed Sept. 24, which claimed that they owed $6,240 in past rent.
The notice, filed Sept. 24 with the Magistrate Court of Gwinnett County, said Greg Leakes owed $6,240 in past due rent. “The tenant said they would move by Sept. 14th because they could no longer afford the house,” the notice said.
The owner of the home, Kajani Shenaz Ali, lives overseas, Pierce said. Online records show the home in the gated community of Stonebrier at Sugarloaf, was purchased for $829,400 in September 2006. Pierce said the Leakeses moved into the home shortly after it was built in 2006.

Trey Songz celebrated his “Sexy-2nd” birthday at the Velvet Room in Atlanta Monday (Dec. 1st). Fabolous co-hosted the party and the club was packed wall-to-wall. DJ Trauma was on the ones and twos as Trey handed roses to a few of his loyal fans. Floyd Mayweather even came through. Before you even ask…I dunno how old Trey is this year. All I know is he is aging VERY WELL! 
Akon was joined by Young Jeezy on Jimmy Kimmel Live to perform his hit, “I’m So Paid”. The two closed the show and Jeezy’s spot was cut as the credits were rolling. Speaking of Jeezy, he’s released yet another behind the scenes video for “My President is Black” featuring Nas. In the clip, Jeezy explains the concept behind the video and how he celebrated President-elect Barack Obama’s historic victory by driving down Peachtree with the doors up on his Blue Lambo.
