As the hood turns aka “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” has finally come to an end (what will we do now??).
While VH1 refers to their hit series as a “southern-fried tale of struggle, love and temptation,” I prefer to think of it as ‘transplants gone wild’.
If you noticed, the show mostly focused on producer Stevie J, who flew in from NYC to take part in the show with his longtime girlfriend Mimi Faust and his side chick turnt main chick… some “stripper” named Joseline (whose original gender has been questioned on more than one occasion).

Stevie J‘s “partner” Benzino (yet another transplanted character) someone manipulated his way onto to screen this season by getting involved with Karlie Redd. In the season finale, their relationship finaly comes to a head with him playing hide & seek with a diamond ring and Karlie playing hide the sausage with Roscoe Dash (a 20-something Atlanta rapper).
Atlanta rapper Lil Scrappy seems to be over his girlfriend/baby mama Erica Dixon, but since we all know they’re engaged now… we see him play Shay “Buckeey” Johnson’s emotions like a string.
It’s written all over Rasheeda‘s face how she feels about “Wassername” and her tales of domestic violence. And if her facial expressions weren’t good enough, she wrote it online in black in white!

I actually enjoyed the show and I am sad to see it come to an end. I felt certain situations that these ladies went thru were relatable. I do not have a drama filled life but in my college days or in my dating days you experience the ups and downs of dating. I am happy that their was not a lot of fighting. It was drama filled but entertaining.

The finale was disappointing. The season was thoroughly entertaining so I thought the finale would have been everything. Hopefully they make it up for it at the reunion.

I really think Stebbie and Mimi have a financial arrangement and she knew about Jose way before this show ever started but you gotta play the role to make the $$$ or like Stebbie J says "get that bread." I guarantee Vh1 rented that house btw for that scene–that house was more empty than Karlie’s bank account…and you know if someone really owned that place, Mimi’s behind would be so fired for bring personal drama in somebody’s house. I love that Zino scene, here’s a ring but you not gettin it! ha ha. Karlie running around trying to find more nuccas to screw for "her career" instead of actually doing work in the studio. Did we ever see her in the studio dropping a track? once? nope. She said she went to the studio but unlike Rasheeda or Karlie, she never had a "show" to display her rapping talent, a video shoot, nada. She was in the studio twice–once to talk to Stebbie about a track and once with the 12 year old ive never heard of (does he remind anyone else of Tevin Campbell circa 1990-1992?) but at least with jose (i refuse to believe that’s a natural born man) was laying tracks down in a few episodes.

Loved the show, but I hear the reunion is where it’s at1 But anyhow, here’s my run-down. Karlie Redd doesn’t have a career and won’t, she is not talented. She is too busy layig on her back for tracks that she probably won’t get. Plus we havent heard any music from her…yet. I like Rasheeda, but don’t let anybody come at your husband like that. It’s obvious that man loves you. Erica, I hope for your sake and your precious little girls that Scrappy get it together. Again, like Erica and her mama. Scrappy leave your mama to her own devices. She needs to find her a man, period point blank, then she will stay out of your business. Clearly she is too involved. Learn to make your own decisions. K Michelle, sing, thats it. Stop doing these interviews about Mickey and his wife, Toya. Go get the help you need and move on. Put your energy into your music. Joseline, girl, you deserve Stevie and vice versa. Mimi move on and don’t look back! You don’t need Stevie J, you too good for him.
That finale was garbage. Stevie might as well have been saying "the world is mine" because he was showing his ass. Mimi a dodo. Joseline will be alright. Anyway say what you want about K but she has talent that’s more than we can say for majority of the cast. Rasheeda girl you so busy defending Toya’s husband that you forgot to defend yours when that pit bull with a blonde wig was chewing his ass out. The Georgia prune lmao that shit had me rolling. Karlie Red you are an idiot and you keep slanging that old cooch on everybody you go catch something ole nasty ass.
