The family of Stacey Nicole English, the Buckhead woman who has been missing since the day after Christmas, is still seeking clues to their daughter’s disappearance and are hopeful for her safe return.

Investigators have now identified Robert Kirk, the male friend English reportedly argued with prior to her disappearance, as “a person that we would like to have some more dialogue with,” a department spokesman said Thursday.
Kirk, a St. Louis promoter/party planner, has a young son by a woman who lives in the Atlanta area and was visiting over the Christmas holidays.
He is thought to be the last person who saw the 36-year-old woman prior to her disappearance.
Investigators have gotten the FBI involved and they plan to travel to St. Louis to question Kirk to develop a more specific timeline.
Upon news that they were headed his way, Kirk updated his facebook page with the following:
According to Stacey’s father, she had an argument with Kirk around 10 or 10:30 pm on December 26 and kicked him out of her Buckhead condominium.
“He’s extremely important to the investigation because as far as we know he was last person that actually had contact with her,” said Maj. Keith Meadows with the Atlanta Police Department.
Anthony English last heard from his daughter by phone around noon that day. She had cooked a full holiday meal for the family on Christmas and she asked him what he thought of her food. He did not notice any stress in her voice during the call.
Stacey’s keys, phone and iPad were found at her Buckhead condo after she disappeared. While police will not say whether they suspect foul play at this point, Davenport said, “We’re exploring all possibilities”.
Davenport also confirmed Thursday that Stacey’s Volvo was found abandoned on Lakewood Ave. in southwest Atlanta. It had been originally reported missing, but was recently found in an Atlanta impound lot, where it had been since December 27th.
Authorities say the car was found in the parking lot of a library that also housed a mini police station. The keys were inside and the motor was running.
According to Stacey’s distraught parents, police have sought surveillance camera video from her condominium complex, information about her bank activity and credit cards and records from the hotel where Kirk supposedly stayed after the argument.
My prayers go out to the family and hopefully Stacey will return home safe and sound.

I clicked on his FB page and I don’t even think that post is in reference to this!! People are talking about his job and then a few mention the news. I’ve seen tons of my friends post things about helping to find this woman…people who don’t even know her! He has posted NOTHING!!! Something ain’t right…Just saying!!!
You know, I was going to say his page seems innocent, but people have posting things since before the new year. I haven’t seen him post anything if that was so much of his friend he would have said something. You are right Donnica.

I pray they find her safe and let’s pray for his soul.
He is known to be a ladies man in Saint Louis and it seems like he was carrying this tradition to atlanta. Seems like after he spent christmas with his son he went to spend time with Stacey. The news media is making it seem like he came down to atlanta only to visit her but if you go to his facebook page he was with the son and babymother. He was obviously trying to move to atlanta and live with his babymother so maybe Stacey found out about his double life and was going to cause problems for him. Something is really fishy about this case.
I sure hope they find her…this is so sad..

I am so skeptical on meeting new men based on this story alone. I hope and pray they find her and bring closure for the family.
He is a cool individual. It kinda bothers me that people talk like he has been found guilty. He’s not even a suspect they just want to talk with him. I hope they find her unharmed but let’s spot putting a guilty verdict on a person until proven so
I just read that he hired attorney Rosenblum, who is the TOP defense attorney in STL, and he doesn’t come cheap. People who know they are in for the legal battle of their life hire this man, which makes this choice interesting. He must have a lot of money.
I read she was also on medication for depression and attempted suicide in the past? If this is the case, maybe she went into another depression and walked off. In other words, I just pray she comes home alive and well.
I feel soooooo sorry for her parents. This story is hard to watch on the news. LORD HAVE MERCY.
Now, it’s been reported that a 23 y/o women went missing on Dec. 18th, under similar circumstances, from St. Louis. Her car was found, abandoned and running shortly after she was noticed missing. As of early this morning, Kirk’s FB page has been deleted; I wonder if he was friends with the missing St. Louis women? He sure did have a lot of young, black & attractive, female friends…does anyone else hear ducks quacking?
