Leakes claimed her wealth came from “Trump Checks” obtained during her stint on Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice, but EVERYBODY KNOWS that show is centered around charitable contributions.
NeNe has since backpedaled, stating she’s “rich in spirit” or some ish like that, but she managed to capitalize from her quote by putting on a few t-shirts.

Now the Trumps have spoken up about NeNe and basically her tall tales of “Trump” checks is…
Donald Trump, Jr. was asked about NeNe’s “Trump check” recently and he replied:
Honestly, I have no idea. All the celebrities on the show play for charity. She received a small appearance fee, sure, but that was it.
And as far as NeNe’s claims that she’s trump tight with the Trumps, and that he has helped her secure business deals, Trump, Jr. states:
And as far as I know, she’s not involved with any of our other business or corporations. So I’m not sure what she’s talking about.
On a related note, NeNe is still getting “checks” albeit not “Trump” checks. She is reportedly being featured in a recurring role on yet another popular television series.
The loud-mouthed diva was recently spotted on the set of the popular television series GLEE where she is reportedly filming a guest spot.
Rumor has it that NeNe filmed a guest appearance on Glee as Sam’s (Chord Overstreet) swim coach, and photographic evidence of Leakes on set further confirmed the talk.
NeNe dons a red and black tracksuit with sneakers (no word on if they were “red bottoms” but the mere fact that she was in flats proves she was doing SOMETHING out of the ordinary.
At first I wasn’t too convinced about NeNe being featured as a swim coach since we all know she’s not getting that quick weave wet LOL but after her profile was caught on the previews, it sealed the deal!
And to top all that that off, it may actually be a recurring role.
Nene Leakes flew back to L.A. this week to tape a second episode of Glee. My source on the set says that today’s shoot was very long and filmed in the pool/gym of Ventura High School.
Nene always seems so happy in her tweets when she is out there filming. To make the day even sweeter for Nene, it’s her birthday! Today’s shoot is not for the Grease episode but for another episode all together. (source)

BTW @ Ashley: I don’t particularly like one "housewife show" over the next but do a little research on Lisa Vanderpump-Todd and Adrian Maloof-Nassif (Housewives of Beverly Hills) and you’ll find that these women are filthy rich, especially Adrian.
