Word on the curb is that celebrity power couple Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith have broken up!!!
Just weeks prior to allowing fans to get a rare glimpse inside their living quarters, InTouch Weekly ran an unverified report that the couple had called it quits after 13 years of marriage.
Word of their break-up quickly gained momentum on the net today, with many distraught fans even saying that if Will and Jada couldn’t make it who could?
Well before y’all start to give up on relationships, a family member has come forward to debunk all those nasty break up rumors.

According to a family member who spoke to RadarOnline, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith have not separated and a family member has exclusively told RadarOnline.com that they are still happily together.
“This is absolutely not true,” a family member –who did not want to be identified – exclusively told RadarOnline.com Tuesday about the rumors that the couple has broken up.
“No way are they splitting up. They are totally together and are not separating,” the family member said.
Meanwhile, a separate source that works very closely with Smith at his production company, Overbrook Entertainment said the same:
“The rumors are not true. Not sure who the source was but they are wrong. All is good in their relationship.”
Will and Jada are parents to Jaden and Willow (reportedly two of the richest kids in the world) and Will has a son named Trey from his first marriage.
Are they or aren’t they? Who knows…
But one thing I know for sure is that those of you who are distraught over their “break up” need to get over it and move away from your computer screen.
Seriously… if you’re basing your relationship standards on the couples you see in the media, you need to get over it and go outside and breathe some fresh air.
All that glitz and glamor they give you on the red carpet is merely an optical illusion, created by stylists, publicists and managers who’s job it is to make them appear as perfect as possible.
They are human and have flaws just like you and I and TRUST… even if the break up rumors prove to be false their marriage is not perfect.
So in other words,don’t believe the hype. Not yet anyway…

*UPDATE: 8/23/11 4:45pm ~ According to TMZ, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith just released a joint statement SHOOTING DOWN reports that they have separated.
The statement reads, “Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false.”
The two add, “We are still together, and our marriage is intact.”

Lord have mercy @ that question. If you let some other couple ruin your views on love and relationships, then there is something wrong with you. Why would you put that much worth on someone elses relationship. You dont know these people and the fact that they are stars doesnt put more worth to there relationship. Be you. I know people in my family who’s been married way longer than that, Im sure everyone does… Look up to them.
@Michelle, I just went MSNBC, and I thought you were saying that Will and Jada are saying this isn’t true and they are very much in love…in fact, it’s not them that said that but “family” members. Until I read what Wil and Jada said, all this doesn’t matter.

Look to your own grandparents, great grandparents, etc, as your examples. I’m not lodging my head up any celebrity’s behind.
I believe completely that Will and Jada created this rumor themselves. Rumors this big don’t just appear out of nowhere. They’re manufactured by celebrities and publicists looking for press for their clients to keep their names in the papers and their personae relevant.
They need to come up with a better way to press for their clients. Stop getting folks all stressed out over yet another Black coupe divorcing. Jada of all people should know better too.
