When NeNe Leakes accused Kim Zolciak of treating her assistant, Sweetie Hughes, like a “slave” on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, there was a collective *sigh* heard throughout the internet. We already knew it was about to GO DOWN!

That classic bus fight between NeNe and Kim had their ‘housewives’ cast mate Phaedra Parks blogging about Race Relations, where she gave us a bit of background information on Kim & Sweetie’s relationship.
The “slave” allegation even prompted a “Free Sweetie” crusade that was launched by Atlanta radio host Rickey Smiley on Feb. 16 after NeNe called his morning show.
Now Sweetie says all that “slave” talk is ruining her life…
In the recent issue of Life&Style magazine where Kim shows off her pregnant belly in a 2 piece [click here for photos], Sweetie addresses how the “Free Sweetie” campaign has affected her life:
“They’re doing it for Black History Month, and it offends me,” Sweetie tells Life & Style.
“They have pastors calling into the radio station and praying for me. They’ve taken it too far. NeNe’s jealous that she’s not as close to Kim as I am. I’ve known Kim for 11 years, since I was a kid. Kim’s a great friend to me. NeNe’s traumatizing my life. She’s bringing hell to it.”
In other words… Sweetie does NOT want to be freed, so leave her the hell alone and let her live!

“I never want to speak to NeNe again. My assistant Sweetie is so upset about the whole thing, she’s beside herself,” Kim tells Life & Style. “NeNe has problems.”

Yes, I believe sweetie is fitting every cliche people have placed on her. having said that she may need to reach out privately to other Black women who are personal assistants to real celebrities.
For example, Joan Rivers and her daughter both share the same personal assistant who is a Black woman. She however, does appear to carry herself differently.

I guess I’m the only one here who watched this season and never took Kim seriously when it came to Sweetie. I didn’t think it was that bad and if it was Sweetie doesn’t strike me as the type to hold in what she’s feeling. They seem to know how to get along with each other. It’s just not that serious.
