News hit the net yesterday about Fantasia being named in her married boyfriend’s wife’s legal documents and y’all have been going hard in the comments! Fantasia’s been called everything but a child of God but she (and her team) want you all to know that it’s not all her fault.
In a statement released by her manager, Brian Dickens, Tasia attempts to explain that she is not responsible for breaking up Antwaun and Paula Cook’s “happy” home.

Fantasia’s manager explains that the former American Idol is “certain she is not responsible for the deterioration of Cook’s marriage”. The statement goes on to say:
Fantasia will weather this Storm with the dignity and grace that she has exemplified throughout a life in which she has repeatedly overcome obstacles and challenges.
Fantasia’s faith in God, herself and family remain as strong as ever.
Yeah… you’ve gotta have faith! Especially when the law is involved.
The wife’s legal complaint included salacious details about her husband and Fantasia and even mentioned that a sex tape was involved. [Click Here if to read the full legal complaint].
Fantasia’s attorney, Gina Morris, has even spoke up on the issue, stating that Mrs. Cook only mentions her famous client to gain media attention.
“Mrs. Cook gratuitously included claims about Fantasia to sensationalize that litigation and to insure that her tale would be picked up by tabloids.” attorney Gina Morris told TMZ.
“The fact that she would seek such publicity in a case involving her children is particularly disgraceful.”
I don’t know about you, but reading Fantasia’s statement + her attorney’s statement only adds fuel to the fire. It’s almost an admission of guilt. This situation can only get worse.

Fantasia comes off desperate to have a man in her life…even if it is not her own. Of course she is going to say it’s not her fault. When what she should be doing is staying away from a married man until he is totally free and able to get it in with her; or she should at least have dealt with him after he had been separated for some time. It’s crazy to me that Fantasia and this man could go out in public together, be photographed and the wife not know any of this beforehand??? I think somethings wrong with that because if this all started back in 2009 then this is not the first time they have been seen out in public together. I really think the wife knew all along but waited to say something to benefit her. There’s no way my husband is going to be out in public with a celebrity and I not know.
