Two very talented chicks teamed up for a video spoof of The Baby Mama’s Club The Tiny & Toya show. I really appreciate y’all sending me this cause it really made my day. The girls are spot on in their speech as they attempt to “tawk” like our two favorite reality show castmates, Tameka ‘Tiny” Cottle and Antonia ‘Toya” Carter.
When we first saw the ads for BET”s” Tiny and Toya” we thought what you probably thought : “What kind of hot ghetto mess is this going to be”? It turns out that the show cast the women in a positive light. They come off as genuinely sweet and and trying to be the best and do the best for themselves and their families. That being said-there were some things we couldn’t help poking fun at. We hope you enjoy and hope they have a sense of humor!
Steph Jones is not only one of THE most cutest polka dotted men I’ve encountered thus far, he’s also the one of the most talented. Step was in Atlanta last weekend recording a few holiday songs and decided to set up a listening session for his “Gravity” mixtape. Invited media and industry tastemakers all traveled to Patchwerk Studios to experience “Gravity” which Step refers to as a LIFETAPE instead of a mixtape. He may be onto something cause the first single, “You’re So Delicious” is a refreshing, feel good song that might possibly breathe some life back into this blah music industry. Take a minute to check it out:
Welcome to my heart, soul and thoughts thru melody and if you’re sleeping then stay sleep because i have this extra loud alarm clock that will wake you right on up. This is that real good feel good music! ~ Steph Jones

Am I the only one who’s been missing the antics of Huey, Riley & Granddad? Well don’t fret…cause according to Aaron McGruder, mastermind behind the hit adult cartoon series, there will be a Season 3 coming soon. Most likely in early 2010. The TV-MA-rated satire first premiered on Adult Swim in 2005. The first season, which consisted of 15-episodes, ended on March 19, 2006. The second season premiered on October 8, 2007 and consisted of 15 episodes; however only 13 episodes were aired.
Can you believe we’ve been watching re-runs for over 2 years now? Series creator, Aaron McGruder, speaks of the show on his TWITTER and confirmed recently that the third season is currently under production and due to air in early 2010. As proof that they’re in the production stages, Aaron tweeted out a few screenshots of the new season and you may be surprised at how the characters are aging. He also gave us a bit of insight on a few new characters:
Man… if y’all thought Ruckus was mean, what til you see his father and grandmother! Season 3 is coming, just can’t say when. Patience!
In this age of social networking and financial hardships, no one wants to lose their job over some bullshhh… but that’s exactly what’s been happening lately. First it was the Atlanta train operator who was suspended from his job after being caught texting by a passenger who posted pics on twitter, then there was those 3 dumb “A”zz teachers who got caught up in a FaceBook love triangle. Oh…and let’s not forget lil miss ‘I had a beer on vacation and got fired after I posted pics on my FaceBook page“. Granted, each case is completely different, but the underlying cause is the same…. SOCIAL NETWORKING! This time it’s FaceBook to blame again. A Canadian woman on long-term sick leave says she lost her disability benefits because her insurance agent located photos of her on Facebook in which she appeared to be having too much fun.
Nathalie Blanchard has been on leave from her job at IBM in Bromont, Quebec, for the last year undergoing treatment for depression and was receiving monthly sick-leave benefits from her companies disability insurance. Blanchard’s payments ceased unexpectedly and when the employee called her insurance company to inquire about her funds, she was told she was no longer considered disabled because of photos on her Facebook page.
