In case you’ve been wondering what Keyshia Cole’s bio-mom has been up to while Neffe’s havin babies, well she’s still on her grind. Frankie recently made an appearance on “Judge Mathis” where she was awarded $5,000. She was suing a former employee for breach of contract but one of the defendants didn’t show up to court, so she won. No word on an air date, but watch out for it sometime during sweeps week
In addition to her recent windfall, Frankie has vowed clean up her life. She says she is giving up alcohol and cigarettes in an attempt to detoxify and also moved to a new place so that she could get away from some of her negative influences. To her family’s delight, she’s changed her social circle and dumped her young fiance. Now don’t think that Frankie has lost her groove, she still has a new youngster (a 23-year-old friend) who she goes to the movies with, but says things with him are just platonic.
I applaud her for cleaning up her act and wish her the best. Frankie can still be seen on BET’s Frankie & Neffe show, but she’ll also be making a few appearances on Monica’s new BET reality show and sharing the stage with Chico DeBarge in a play that’s being produced by Vivica Foxx. Solange follows bro in-law Jay-Z on the Oprah stage as she gets an opportunity to explain why she felt the need to shed her lacefront chop off her hair. [Sidebar: Didn't Tyra just do this...?] She will also delve into her choice of hairstyles over the years as Oprah discusses Chris Rock’s “Good Hair” documentary.

Last night Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas presented her former classmate, Mayoral candidate Senator Kasim Reed, with the “Cusp Leadership Award” from Music is My Business and Enchanted PR. The event was hosted by MIMB CEO Aaron Arnold and Enchanted PR president Christal Jordan-Mims at the estate of Attorney Charles Mathis and also doubled as Chilli’s pick up spot for the night, as VH1 gathered footage for her upcoming dating reality show.

After much hype and anticipation, Chris Brown leaked a new song via his Twitter page yesterday called “I Can Transform Ya” which features Lil Wayne and Swizz Beatz. The song is from Chris’ upcoming 3rd studio album, entitled Graffiti and is also produced by Swizz Beatz.

Meet 43-year-old cab driver, David Perez. Perez was picked up yesterday in Clayton County, Georgia and charged with child molestation after a 10 year old passenger in his cab accused him of touching her inappropriately:
The mother said what hurts the most is that she knew Perez well.“I would say, ‘Can you send cab #40?’” said the mom. “He would tell me about his granddaughter and his son having a baby.”
The mother said one day her daughter missed the school bus so she called for a cab. She said Perez picked up her daughter. Before they left the complex, the girl said Perez told her to get in the front seat. The girl told police Perez then continually tried to touch her inappropriately.
“(He) basically tried to feel all on her body,” said the girl’s mom.Police said the 10-year-old girl eventually jumped out of the moving taxi, went to school, and told counselors. The school counselors called the police. (Source)
A Clayton County judge probable cause to move forward with child molestation and Perez also faces sexual battery and enticing a child charges.
