Tameka “Tiny” Cottle and Antonia “Toya” Carter hit the red carpet of the 2009 BET Hip Hop Awards with a third wheel, Toya’s new boo, James Hardy. The cute threesome posed for photos and James happily escorted both beautiful women on to the show.  Now we’ve all heard rumors of how Tiny gets down, but I’m quite sure she’s not partaking in any of those activities while her boo is unable to participate. Tip ain’t havin that… not until he gets home!

Yeah Tiny, wise move to back up a bit. You wouldn’t want to be photographed standing too close! (I kiddd!) Speaking of Tiny, she read an acceptance letter from her boo, T.I. during the awards show and he showed her much love. After the reading though, awards show host Mike Epps joked, “She betta get home for T.I. come!”  I almost fell out my chair…

The question was asked a few weeks ago, Is Lil Wayne’s Ex (Toya Carter) a Backstabber? after I received information from my blogging buddy Mrs. Grapevine that revealed to the world Joy Bound’s story about how she was robbed of her reality show idea, which originally included She, Tiny, Kandi Burress, & Antonia “Toya” Carter.  The story apparently came from a close friend of Joy’s and really didn’t seem too far fetched at all, being that we all know these ladies were close at some point. Well, now Joy herself has come forward and issued an official statement on the matter:

I am happy to leave this matter up to the legal process and God. However, with the recent blogs and the emails I’ve received, I realize it’s important that I say something. I don’t want young ladies to think its cool to be disloyal or strive to become a “baby mama“. First, I’d never advise anyone to have a child out of wedlock I don’t care who the daddy is.

Second; hardwork, honesty, loyalty and respect are the keys to success. They will take you further than the opposite.

Yes I created a reality show and yes I reached out to Tameka “Tiny” Cottle and Christine White to do the show. At that point, Toya Carter was already my friend so naturally I approached her first. The show I created was not a frivolous “baby mama” show, rather a chance to redefine that image through a reality show on our lives then spin off to a late night talk show. I’m disappointed to see my vision turned into the stereotype. MORE

Nivea and Antonia “Toya” Carter have something in common. Besides the fact that both have tasted the sweet fruit of Lil Wayne they both love the arts and were spotted in the crowd during The Collective Renaissance Guild’s Power Generation performances. I’m wondering if Nivea, who’s engaged and pregnant by Toya’s ex-hubby got any tips from Toya on how to handle the gremlin?

Is Antonia “Toya” Carter a backstabber? She seems like a really laid back cool chick, but if you ask Joy Bounds (aka Lyfe Jennings’ baby mama) you may get a earful! Joy was/is part of the baby mama clique in Atlanta, as she’s been hanging out with Tiny for years. If you recall, Kandi Burruss, Joy, Christine White (Luda’s baby moms), Tiny, Toya and possibly Monica were all in discussions about developing their own reality show but Kandi revealed in an Essence article that the idea was scrapped because of an “uneasy disagreement” with the producer.

Now it appears that Joy is mad salty cause everyone’s got a show but her. According to MrsGrapevine, Toya may have manipulated the situation to get all of the other women kicked off the show. She’s even been accused of sleeping with a friend of the producer! Is Toya’s on air sweet image merely a front for the cameras? Joy (and her friends) seem to think so. Lil Wayne’s ex Toya Carter stopped by to show some love on the eastside last weekend during Fashion Luxe 101.  The HittmennDJ/StraightFromTheA event was a success as kids gathered free school supplies and autographs from the new star of BET’s “The Tiny & Toya Show.”

Tiny & Toya held a private viewing party last night for the world premiere of their new BET reality show “Tiny & Toya” and were joined by all of their friends and family.

Tiny’s former bandmate and newly inducted Atlanta “housewife” Kandi Burress came through for support.
