Actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner (aka ‘Theo Huxtable’ from The Cosby Show) is now making waves as he takes part in re-enacting the infamous OJ case that fascinated America in “American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson.”
Warner recently spoke about his experience playing O.J.’s best friend and infamous Bronco driver Al Cowlings, and also shared his feelings about his former TV dad, Bill Cosby, who has been dominating news headlines over the sexual allegation cases against him.

Malcolm, who spent eight seasons on “The Cosby Show,” reveals that he is still in touch with Cosby and while it’s not a good situation, he has chosen to separate the man he knows from what is being reported in the media. He also speaks about working on ‘The People vs. OJ Simpson’ and re-enacting that historic bronco chase.

Former Cosby Kid Malcolm Jamal Warner hit the “A” last weekend for Joyce Littel’s Passion & Poetry. The event was held at 404 Lounge and was a welcome retreat from hip-hop & rap.
Warner headlined the event along with his group, Miles Long Experience, who treated the crowd with poetry and great music. The actor/musician seems to be still plagued by his Cosby Show past as fans still recall his days on the show, but according to AJC’s Rodney Ho, Warner takes it all in stride:
At one point, someone yelled, “One more, Theo!” He looked peeved and started haranguing the crowd in less-than-pleasant terms for referencing his character from years’ past. The audience hushed. But then he broke into that Cosby-esque smile, indicating he was just messing with them. “Theo,” he said, “has been good to me.”
I agree. Malcolm. He has! And good lookin out on the haircut! Love it!!

My favorite former Cosby kid, Malcolm Jamal Warner, was spotted attending the world premiere of Fool’s Gold at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
Malcolm plays the role of “Cordell” in the movie, which is a romantic comedy starring Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson.
