Atlanta-based rappers T.I. and B.o.B. were spotted partying in Las Vegas as they celebrated the 5 year anniversary of Tip’s AKOO clothing line earlier this week (February 18, 2014).

The private affair took place at the new Lavo Lounge and was hosted by Grammy Award winning recording artist/actor, T.I., alongside his partner Jason Geter, founders of this burgeoning brand.
Guests were treated to cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, go-go dancers as well as a fashion presentation of the exclusive AKOO x MANNION Collaboration and the Spring Collections of AKOO and Hustle Gang.
Music was provided by Vegas’ own DJ Franzen and special guests included recording artist B.o.B., photographer/director Jonathan Mannion, artist Sue Tsai, and more.

T.I. hit up MTV recently to reveal his plans for the AKOO clothing line:
The direction of the clothing line, in my eyes, is upscale urban apparel. I just wanna continue to diversify. Continue to grow. Continue to speak to the cool kids of America. That’s my idealistic outcome.
T.I is facing more legal woes. Back in January a producer filed a copyright complaint against Tip over his Grammy Award Winning song, “What You Know” and now he’s facing legal issues over his AKOO clothing line.

T.I.’s camp is getting a bit of negative attention this week over a billboard located in Newark, NJ. According to FSL, the AKOO billboard is smack dab in the middle of one of Newark’s busiest intersections and it’s residents feel the advertisement is sending a risque and inappropriate message to it’s younger citizens.
The billboard (pictured above) features a woman kneeling in front of a man with his pants unzipped and the area’s residents say that the ad is especially vulgar because it seems to be targeting African-American youth: Continue Reading…

Twan is the first celeb pinup for AKOO and the shots were taken by legendary photographer, Zach Wolfe. Peep the socks… That’s why I love him!
