It’s only been a year since Apollo Nida headed to prison to serve his 8-year prison stint, but it’s looking like he may be home sooner than we think.
[FLASHBACK: The Thirst! Apollo’s Jailhouse Pen-Pal Speaks Out…. ]
Nida, the husband of ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star Phaedra Parks, has been transferred from his Kentucky jail cell to a New Jersey prison and it’s all reportedly in anticipation for an early release.
Details about Apollo’s ‘good news’ below…
According to RadarOnline, Apollo has been transferred to FCI Fort Dix correctional facility in New Jersey.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons confirms that the 37-year-old estranged husband of Phaedra Parks is currently behind bars at the low-security institution for male inmates.
“He transferred about two weeks ago,” an insider tells Radar.
As far as his release date, Nida wrote a jailhouse letter to Radar assuring them that it “won’t be long” before he finds freedom, and according to The Bureau of Prisons, Nida’s release date is August 29, 2020 (that’s six years from his first day in confinement).
Apollo was sentenced to serve 8 years in prison after being found guilty of bank fraud (click HERE to refresh your memory).
Fun Fact: Apollo won’t be alone at Fort Dix. He will soon be joined by fellow Bravo ‘house husband’, Joe Giudice, 43, of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Giudice is expected to begin serving his 41-month sentence for Fraud in March 2016.
Oh… and for all you single ladies (and some gentlemen) laying in wait for Apollo’s return, he’s still VERY married and word on the curb is that Phaedra has no real plans of divorcing him.
What do you think of news of Apollo’s early release?
