It was just a few months ago that Nene Leakes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta closed on her new home and now moving day has finally arrived!

  Congrats to her!!! Although, she has been renting for years so that allowed her to stack her coins. Also, $2.1 million is a bit much to spend in atl. She could’ve built the same house for less, and in atl she could’ve gotten the same square footage for about a milli less. She just wanted to be able to say she lives in sugarloaf. Also, who is all that house for?? Brent will be leaving soon, so it’ll just be her and Greg……Whole thing screams new money, but whatevs! lol

  I am not following … Only $3500 a month? Gee, I guess you would consider me a pauper but my mortgage on my townhouse in Maryland is less than half that amount. Who wants to pay an outlandish mortgage just because you have money? If the house was 2.1M and she put down 20%, $420,000; $1,680,000 is the balance of her mortgage and that’s not including all the fees and I’m sure her mortgage is more than $3500. Maybe that’s what she was paying in rent at one of the other homes she lived.

  It is not rent to own. It is having a mortgage. If you are renting then the landlord is responsible for maintenance, etc., a homeowner, yes, even one with a mortgage is responsible for paying the mortgage, maintenance, upkeep, taxes property taxes and insurance. That’s the difference. And, if you itemize deductions you can deduct the interest on the mortgage, the property taxes, etc. A renter cannot do that. So, there is a difference.

  I can tell yandy is trying to get her own spinoff show like candy. It’s so obvious from the beefing with the mother in law . The sad thing about it is I don’t think anyone really cares that much about there life story.
