Leakes caught a bit of flack during the last episode of RHOA and apparently wants to set the record straight about her less than hospitable behavior when her Atlanta friends paid a visit to her Hollywood Hilllzzz home.

While there are some who feel her actions were justified, Nene wrote a blog to offer a more objective view of her ‘dinner party diss’.

Nene threw shade at just about everyone EXCEPT her gal pal Cynthia in her recent Bravo blog, stating:
My work schedule is Monday through Friday all day every day, and we wrap whenever we finish, which can even be midnight. In order for me to get a calendar work day off, I have to be cleared through my producers. These ladies knew this was the only time I could have the dinner party, and they knew in advance.
With that said, I was very excited for the ladies to visit me, and if you’re anything like me, when you’re having guests you’re running around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to make things perfect! I hired a chef, wait staff, bartender, and a bar back. I wanted it perfect.
I know we have certain girls who are notorious for being extremely late, so much so that I planned in my mind that they would show up by 10 pm. When I got the call at 11:40 pm, I felt totally disrespect and hurt that they would even do this to me after all my planning and asking for time off work!
When I watched the show back, maybe my tone could have been different, and I accept that, but this was a dinner party planned especially for them! I had five other important guests that I wanted them to meet, but three had already left by the time they arrived.
Gregg, being the gentleman that he is, offered to give a to-go plate to the hungriest of the group, Kandi, who needs to stay prayed up! From what I could see, she had an attitude from the beginning.
Why even come on a trip if you’re going to pick everything apart? You can’t make a wrong right, and the last thing she needs to be thinking about after midnight is Pink’s and Fat Burger! That’s for-rel-yal!
The next day was the Groundling, which I purposely showed up late for to give them a dose of their own medicine. But after talking to Gregg, I promised to hold no grudges and continued to try and make the LA trip special for the girls.
So we head over to Paramount Studios, which I was reluctant to do, because I know how hard it is for people to be happy for your success, especially those that wish they could be doing the same thing. But I shared anyway!
Here are my laugh out loud and girl stop lying best moments of the show:
1. Phaedra saying you can’t make a ho a Housewife! Oops!
2. Kenya saying she GAVE me a table! Girl, stop lying, I have the cancelled check.
3. Phaedra saying Kenya bought that bootie at Home Depot! LOL!
4. Me saying you can eat the nail polish off your nails! LOL!
5. Kenya saying, “This girl is so dumb.”
6. Cynthia saying she laid her clothes out like it was the first day of school and even put her shoes beside them! LOL!
7. Kenya with all the name dropping in her interviews! Girl, let us see the movies already, LOL!
I’m still keekee-ing that Nene wrote that Kandi needs to stay “prayed up”!

yes, it’s wrong to be super late to a dinner. I know that. There is no excuse to be that late. I’m not saying it is cool for us to be that late. We all (except for Cynthia) typically have a problem with being on time, including NeNe. I can recall many times when NeNe has showed up super late to different things we were doing, so that’s why I was surprised that she was snapping so hard.
Looking back the best thing to do would have been to go straight to NeNe’s house after we got to LA and just let Phaedra meet us there. Then we wouldn’t have been late, NeNe wouldn’t have been mad, and I wouldn’t have been hungry! LOL! I am a manager at my place of employment and one thing I do not tolerate is employees who are constantly late. I hate when people joke about being on "CP" time. I have fired many a CP time keepers. That being said, both Nene and the girls were wrong. Nene should have let the girls inside to eat whatever was left over from the party. It cost her money to keep a chef, bartender and other staff on hand to cater to the girls who were soooo late. I still think she should’ve let them in, however.
I agree. She probably handled it the wrong way and she acknowledged that. But I could tell that it hurt her feelings! It would have hurt mine too had I went through all of that to make it special for them and they behinds show up 3 hours later. I would’ve given them a plate too but still been kinda pissed lol

Kandi aka the joker because of that weird grin and eyebrows, alway have something to say. It is very rude to show up at someones home late. The events that Nene showed up late were at clubs and venues, that is no big deal. I am over hearing her say people can’t be happy for you when you become successful. I hate hearing anyone say that. Truth is, you are surrounding yourself with the wrong people if you think that nobody can be happy for you when you start to do well. However, I didn’t really notice any of the girls saying anything about Nene’s success, perhaps she is her own worse enemy in all of this.

When people are paranoid that everyone is "jealous" of them, that ain’t nothing but insecurity speaking from a hood mentality. If she feels that people are "jealous" of her success, then clearly they aren’t her friends. However, I don’t believe anyone is jealous of her success either and it’s all in her head.

I thought I was the only one who was bothered by that….btw, has anyone even watched the show? I never have…I guess it would be hard for me to see Nene as any other character, other than, well, Nene……probably a good reason why scripted reality stars and sit-com reality stars need to stay in one’s own lane.

I thought Nene was above all the drama since she landed that role….well word on the curb is that the new normal is heading for cancellation, it’s not official yet but more than a few top sites have reported that it will be cancelled..maybe that’s why Nene has to reassert herself…I know Kenya is somewhere mad and greasy. I bet Kenya thought she would be the star if Nene ever left housewives. I can’t wait to see how this all plays out.

Phaedra had just landed and all the girls waited for her to get in! Nene was aware that Phaedra’s plane had not landed, so all the drama was Nene being very EXTRA. Why she chooses to attack Kandi for all the girls late arrival, I just don’t understand. Ms. Nene forgot they showed the moving truck delivering the table from Kenya’s storage unit, when she wrote her blog for BRAVO. I agree with Kandi, that in hindsight they should have just went to the dinner party and let Phaedra come once she arrived.
Were we watching the same show…because it was Porsha’s storage unit that pulled up to Nene’s house…with Porsha’s things…not sure if you seen live with Andy but Nene explained that so much was edited…she was still at the house when Phaedra arrived…it edited to make it look like Phaedra only had 10 minutes to get ready…when she had 2 full hours…

If you watch carefully they didn’t get to LA until around 7 by the time Nene left it was about 8 and they still had to wait on Phaedra’s plane. A 9pm dinner party was pushing it. It also took a good while to get to Nenes house. I like Nene but she was extra.
Plus Cali time is 3 hours behind eastern time, so even though it was 9 when they arrived in Cali, for their bodies it was 12 am. By the time they arrived at the party for their bodies it was even later then that. I know when I went out west that time change bs messed with me the entire vacation. My body never did adjust the whole time I was there.

When Nene and Cynthia were on Watch What Happens Live, Nene called out the editing team on Andy was on hush mode. Nene said, she was actually still at the house when Phaedra arrived (which was 7pm). According to Bravo, Phaedra arrived 3hrs after the other girls, so Kandi, Cynthia, Porsha and Kenya got there around 4pm. Even though I understand her frustration, Nene was still mad rude. I personally thing all parties could have been more considerate, the girls could of kept Nene up to date with an ETA and Nene should not of had anything planned on day/night 1. It’s hard flying across country and then your body is still on East Coast time.
They did not have to wait on Phaedra. Phaedra missed her flight and Nene was informed of that. The only one who should have been late was Phaedra. Nene even said she did not expect them to actually be on time at 9pm but more like 10pm. She gave them a grace period but they all thought it was smart to wait for Phaedra, who was guiding the group Porscha?

I will never 4get how Nene conducted herself on the tour with Kandi and Kim. She was radical and verbally abusive on the entire trip. What Nene did shouldn’t surprise any of us……this lady is a big mouth and she loves to verbally abuse people, esp. people who will not argue back with her. I can not for the life of me figure out what she get from trying to tear other people down by being loud-mouth and stupid. VERBAL BULLY and she is a grandmother. Nene needs anger management….it took Greg to tell her it was not as serious as she wanted to make it. She has been late for most of the events I have seen her attend. But only the GREAT Nene Leakes is allowed to be late.
THANK YOOOOOOOU! Yes! After the way that she acted during that tour, babyyyyy, I was DONE with NeNe Leakes! I was already annoyed with her before that, but that road trip just made it that much easier for me to not suuport her in anything that she does. She REALLY showed out. Heard her comments about folks not being happy about her success. Wonder if folks have been saying/sending messages to her that are negative. It is true. Not everyone is happy when something good happens. I’ve experienced that myself. Perhaps, she is calling it like she sees it.
Read some comments that folks think Kandi was jeolous. I don’ know if I agree with that. Kandi seems to have her own money and has had her own success. She might be a good one to remind NeNe that many people have made it big for a moment and then faded into the sunset.

Uhm…Nene was so wrong for having the party on the damn day all parties arrived. I’m sure since she’s "arrived" in the "HOLLY_HOOD HILLS" she’s come jet lagged so why throw a party on the day of. but, the thing is that it’s only a 3 hour time difference lol. they all travel all the time, they were acting like they were traveling hours upon hours, it’s a 4 hour flight max, they should have just slept on the plane, or had a good night’s rest the night before, there’s no excuse for them being that late for anything, let alone an orchestrated dinner at someone’s home.
No..I’m not making excuses for them regarding being late. You are right…12am…kick rocks with open toe shoes however; it would make sense being its a different time zone…lets chill out and then make the most of the trip. Nene needs to sit down. Her and Kandi are frenemies…point blank period…Kandi is more successful then Nene as the show will be cancelled after 1 or 2 seasons because it is a stupid show. Kandi is worth more than Nene. Cynthia hangs around Nene to be relevant. Kenya is a man dressed in drag…who has starred in below z rated films that go straight to dvd..she steals ideas and needs to see a dermatolist soon! I am not hating on Nene…just tired of her acting like she is all that… I know she did like the Jeffersons and is "moving on up" but go sit down somewhere and enjoy your work instead talking about people hating on you…
I did not watch this episode but from reading this I am glad I did not waste my time. NeNe keeps saying everyone is jealous of her, but none of the girls have ever said anything bad about her success. She is more obsessed with people hating on her than people really are. I am sick of her actics and loud mouth. Since she is so successful now why don’t she just leave this show, b/c real actresses would not be on a reality show.

NeNe was jealous of Kandi and was very intimidated by her success from the moment she (Kandi) joined the cast. Then, when NeNe (finally) came into her own, she wanted Kandi to shower her with praise (as if they were on the same level). She even mentioned to Kandi during their trip to Antigua that she felt that Kandi didn’t give "it" back. Even though Kandi has supported NeNe and complimented her numerous times and on various occassions, that is still not enough to satisfy her. Does anyone remember the way that NeNe acted at Kandi’s launch party for her adult toys? I do. SHE ACTED LIKE A JEALOUS WITCH WHO WAS TOO GOOD TO BE AROUND TWITTER FOLLOWERS.
