In a recently released press release from Lifetime, the network announces that the show will follow the family as they get over the death of iconic songstress Whitney Houston.
…back to back episodes will chronicle those closest to the pop music icon which includes her daughter Bobbi Kristina (also known as Krissy), 19; Pat Houston, Whitney’s sister-in-law and manager; Whitney’s brother and Pat’s husband Gary Houston, their daughter Rayah Houston, 14; Grammy Award-winning singer Cissy Houston, Whitney and Gary’s mother and the family matriarch; and family friend, Nick Gordon, 22.

Nick looks like a crook. He know as much as Whitney did for him she is not at peace knowing he and Bobbi K. are dating. It just don’t seem right for him to call Whitney mama and dating Bobbi K.

Watching this train wreck of a family makes me appreciate more and more the Haughtons who seemingly refuse to exploit the death of their precious Aaliyah. Don’t know what Aaliyah’s brother is doing, there hasn’t been any interviews with her parents. This business of new music from Aaliyah may pull them out of the woodwork, I don’t know. But Whiney’s whole situation is sad and just shows how if you don’t have anything to fall back on, you’ll sell your soul to the devil called reality tv.

I’m going to watch because I’m nosy as hell and ain’t about to miss these laughs for the world. I do think its waaay too soon and I don’t think not one Houston has enough personality to carry a show-the spark of this family was definitely Whitney. Bobbi K is so monotone, I automatically tune her out when she speaks, so I may miss a couple of scenes cause I’m sleep,lol. And another thing, I wish ppl would stop judging her gap-it’s something she inherited from her dad and its very cute. First of all, what is Nick Gordon doing for himself? Does he work? Is he in school, what does he actually do? Is Nick living off of Bobbi Kristina? From what I’m reading, it seems like this guy Nick has nothing going for himself. He’s trying to get Bobbi Kristina to married him so he can get Bobbi Kristina’s money. She is 19 and legally an adult, her grandmother, aunt and uncle can’t stop her from being with this guy or marrying him. If it does happen, I hope for Bobbi K sake they will tell her to sign a prenup. I don’t know this young man, but I think he’s only with her because of who she is and her money, bottom line. I feel Bobbi Kristina should be putting Whitney’s money to good use by going to college and getting a good education for herself; instead of spending it irresponsibly on herself and this guy Nick.

I do not understand this messs. These people aren’t stars. They aren’t talented. Whitney was a talented star. And when she died I felt at though a member of my family had died.
Bobbi Kris does not have the "it" factor her mother had in her heyday and beyond. And she is no where near as pretty as Whitney was at that age. On the Tyler Perry’s For Better or Worse her acting was . . . well it was what it was.
I think the thing that is rallying people is the messy factor – the watch and see them act the fool and crash and burn eventuality. SMH
