Usher Raymond has officially decided to “postpone” his 2013 “Euphoria” European tour.
As you know, the superstar R&B singer was recently awarded primary custody of his two young sons and while Raymond issued a statement that his decision was based on his children, but inside sources say that it was poor ticket sales that prompted the push back.
It seems Usher’s famale fans are really hitting him where it hurts… the pockets!
Due to professional and personal commitments Usher has had to reschedule his upcoming European tour dates.
With his recently confirmed commitment to the Voice, to ensure that his fans worldwide are treated to the best possible concert experience, the entire tour will be rescheduled to 2013 when both the North America and European dates will run together.
Raymond also issued the following personal statement to his disappointed fans:
The feeling of euphoria that I get when performing for you is indescribable. I love each and every one of you and thank you for being there every step of the way.
I truly appreciate and am grateful for your support while I take this time to focus on my children and continue to evolve with my fans. (source)
Translation: “I did not sell enough tickets in Europe and the by the way, the judge hasn’t ruled on my ex-wife’s motion for a retrial, so I’ve got to make it seem like I’m clearing my calendar… you know… for the kids.”
Messy messy messy…
Y’all can call me what you want but like my good friend Funky Dineva told me the other day, I may be “messy,” but I don’t lie.
To be continued…
